With respect to the North Carolina Homeschool case reported in WorldNetDaily article entitled
Judge Orders Homeschoolers Into Public District Classrooms, (see below): With the advent of a liberal Democrat controlled government, if homeschoolers, and especially Christians continue to permit their religious rights to be undermined by secular progressives, the result will be the loss of these rights in the future. That Judge Mangum is a secular progressive, is demonstrated in his statement to the children's mother that public school was necessary to
"challenge the ideas you've taught them."
As outlined in the Brother of Yeshua/Jesus Blog article,
The Church Of Spiritual Complacency , the injunction against Venessa Mills being allowed to homeschool her children, is caused by the failure of the Christian Church to protect the faithful body of believers. Moreover, the fact that Venessa Mills and her children has even been victimized by secular progressives, is because of God's Judgment of the Church itself. Previous letters detailing the underlying causes that homeschooling, and ultimately religion itself, is being challenged -- including copies of letters to Jay Sekulow of the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), as well as Bruce Shortt and the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) -- is presented in the article entitled
Another Victim Of Christian Complacency .
While in previous letters and communications I have outlined to Jay Sekulow how the right to homeschool can easily be won in court -- which would force open the door of School Choice for all Americans (see
http://ebionite.com/aclj.htm ) -- because the issue goes to the core of many manmade teachings that has driven the Church off its original spiritual course, the essential Constitutional Right to the practice of religion has come under severe attack. As demonstrated in the above articles, the very essence of the Constitutional Right to the practice of religion, is the mindset, thinking and lifestyle of the child. Yet, in order to make Christianity the religion of the masses, many essential core teachings became suppressed and even declared to be heresy. And in this respect, the path of the modern Church is very much parallel to the journey of Paul/Saul to Damascus. The manmade doctrines that were adopted while the Christianity was the puppet of fourth century Pagan Rome, continues to drive the Church into the role of Spiritual Apostasy. And it is these cases brought on by secular progressives which threatened the flock of believers, which is the Voice of God calling out to those who seek to be faithful, to return once again to Gospel First Principles. In these cases where sincere Christians are being persecuted, what is being heard is the Voice of the Lord proclaiming:
"Church of those who call themselves my disciples, why persecutest thou me?" (Acts 9:4 KJV). And when the leaders of the Church reply to the Lord: How do we persecute you? The answer is:
"In your spiritual complacency!!!"
As I have personally explained to Bruce Shortt of the HSLDA and Jay Sekulow (see
http://ebionite.com/aclj.htm ), as an Ebionite Nazirene, I totally reject the teaching of Martin Luther of faith without actions, and hold to the original teaching that
"...faith without actions is dead" (James 2:20). And this fact is perhaps best presented in the words:
"And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?" (Luke 6:46 KJV). The fact that the manmade doctrines of the Church are based upon grave errors (see
http://TheLie.org ), is easily demonstrated. And the fact that the flock of believers continue to be persecuted, is directly attributable to the Hand of God confronting the Church leaders with their spiritual complacency.
If it can be demonstrated that the practice of religion is embodied in the child's thinking, mindset and lifestyle, then not only would the case of the children of Venessa Mills be reversed, but the war on our children which is being waged by secular progressives throughout the nation would be brought to an end, and School Choice would be implemented. As I personally stated to Bruce Shortt, the Christian Church presently dwells in a Spiritual Diaspora (see
http://TheLie.org#diaspora ) -- blind to what the Gospel portrays as the Mysteries of the Kingdom of God -- because they are sacrificing their children to the god of this world -- i.e.,
"It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones" (Luke 17:2 KJV).
The Voice of the Lord is calling out: Let My Children Go!!! My letters to the ACLJ (
http://ebionite.com/aclj.htm ) presents some interesting facts:
Quoting a recent news release: "Pinckney was quoted May 6, 2004 in an Associated Press story saying 'God gives the responsibility of children to the parents, not to the government, and parents should be taking responsibility, primarily through homeschooling.' Pinckney and Shortt cite numerous reasons for the need to remove Southern Baptist children from 'government schools,' including research from the Nehemiah Institute which 'discovered through its extensive surveys of student attitudes and beliefs that acceptance of a secular humanist worldview by Christian children attending government schools has increased dramatically over the past fifteen years.' They also cited research gathered by the Southern Baptist Council on Family Life which reported in 2002 'that 88 percent of the children raised in evangelical homes leave church at the age of 18, never to return.' The resolution also states that public schools are 'adopting curricula and policies teaching that the homosexual lifestyle is acceptable.' Shortt was quoted May 4, 2004 by World Net Daily: 'The issue is this,' he said, 'the government schools are killing our children morally, spiritually and academically. The question we confront as Christian parents is, how dead do we want our children to be?'" If the membership of NCHE is serious about protecting the children from the war being waged by secular progressives, then I can easily initiate a Constitutional challenge which will prove that the thinking, mindset and lifestyle of the child, is protected by the First Amendment clause respecting the practice of religion.
