Another Gay Clergy? Why?

Almost as commonplace predictable as female teachers having sex with their students, is the recent headline: Georgia Megachurch Pastor Reveals He's Gay .   But perhaps the greatest sin is seen in the fact that the Church is totally without answers as to why this pastor was born gay.   In fact, if the Rev. Jim Swilley (see Blog) was truly a Christian -- as fulfilling the definition of the word that is rhetorically thrown around with spiritual indifference to the core meaning of the term Christ and Christian -- then he would know why he was born Gay?   If the Rev. Jim Swilley was truly a Christian, he would explain to the people in his congregation why he was born homosexual -- the purpose and objectives of living a life as a homosexual clergy of a megachurch -- and how the people in his congregation can assist him in fulfilling these higher objectives.   But because the Rev. Swilley is not a Christian -- and his homosexuality is not the primary issue -- Rev. Swilley stands before his congregation with absolutely no real answers to his dilemma.

Will the Rev. Swilley embrace the truly convoluted interpretation of the scriptures that has been championed by Bishop Gene Robinson (see Reply: Same Sex Acts Unnatural For Heterosexuals)?    When I confronted Bishop Robinson's office with the facts that are presented in this article, they became overtly hostile.   In fact, the assertion of Bishop Robinson that God did not possess the vision to foresee that some men "...would be born being affectionately-oriented to people of the same sex", is patently absurd!    And while the article exposes the folly of the dogmatic explanations of the Gay community which is attempting to promote the homosexual clergy as being approved and ordained by the Gospel, the question that has been set before the Rev. Swilley is raised in the article entitled Lutheran Clergy - Cultural Or Spiritual Leaders? You Decide!!!    And thus, the question is presented: Which is the greater sin -- i.e., being Gay?  Or not knowing why one is Gay?   And if this ever growing list of influential clergy were in fact Christian -- in accord with the meaning of the word Christian -- then they would not only know why the Laws (of God) made them gay -- but they would know the objectives of the life that they are presently living as a gay clergy.

While the answers to their dilemma can be found in the above articles, if this group of clergy was to actually embrace the original Gospel teachings that are pertinent to the circumstances of their life at the present, they would have to release themselves from the cloak of latter-day Phariseeism who threw away the Key of Knowledge -- and they would have to begin to walk the path that would make them an actual Christian in the Spiritual sense of the word.   And in so doing, they would truly become a shepherd of the present congregation of spiritually disenfranchised blind believers who should be the Light of the world.    But to do so, they must throw off the chains of Roman Paganism that has anchored the Church to the abyss of absolute spiritual ignorance, and take their rightful place as the true source of Knowledge and Light that is intended to be manifest for the salvation of the world.   We don't need another gay pastor -- but we are in despirate need of clergy who understand the reason why the Laws orchestrate the lives of not only gay people -- but of all people.

Thus, as Moses stated: This day I have set before you the paths of The Two Ways -- i.e., on the right is TheWay of Life and the Kingdom; and on the left is the broad-way of self destruction that the multitude walk ("Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.  Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it" [Mt 7:13-14]).   And the fact that you must seek and enter the Kingdom while still physically alive in the body-vessel -- and this cannot be accomplished after you physically die -- is a spiritual reality not at all understood by the modern faith-based Church (see GateOfEden.com).   Therefore, if being gay has brought the Rev. Swilley to this important crossroads, then being gay can be a positive reality in his life.   But if he embraces the convoluted dogma of the Bishop Robinson that when the scriptures were written "It never occurred to anyone in ancient times that a certain minority of us would be born being affectionately-oriented to people of the same sex" -- then like Bishop Robinson, the Rev. Swilley will be totally defeated by his gay dilemma.   If, as Jesus taught, not even a sparrow can fall to the earth apart from the Will of God (Mt 10:29), then not only was the Rev. Swilley born gay for a reason, but as one comes to understand the Laws That Perfect Man, then it must be recognized that that with knowledge and understanding, the Rev. Swilley's homosexuality can in fact be turned into an opportunity that ultimately can be for the benefit of many.
