Do Christians Hear The Holy Spirit?
I was asked the question whether Christians hear the Holy Spirit?
Spiritual Israel are those who sit at the table with the Prince of the Right Hand. But the vast majority of the people of this world sit at the table of the Prince of the Left Hand that has equal power as the Right Hand. While the reference by Peter is to "...meat offered to idols", food is allegorically portrayed as knowledge. Idols would represent the thoughts and material representations of this world. Therefore, those whose thinking is of this world are those who Jesus defined as dogs -- and those portrayed as dogs cannot be given the bread of Israel. On the other hand, wholeness is able to connect the things of this world with their Source in Spirit. Jesus said: "They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance" (Mark 2:17). Which means that any church or dogmatic teaching, philosophy or source of knowledge promoted by any institution that fails to connect the physical with the spiritual, can be considered "...meat offered to idols".
The modern Church is of the Left Hand -- i.e., it does not act as a gateway leading seekers into the Kingdom -- and therefore, it does not connect the physical with the spiritual. When the Jews were accused of throwing away the Key of Knowledge (see The Fatal Error Of The Church http://KeyOfKnowledge.org#third ), as an institution of the Left Hand, the modern Church is even more guilty than the Jews (quoting): "And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God comes not with observation: Neither shall they say, See here! or, see there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you" (Luke 17:20-21). If the words of Jesus are true -- and the Kingdom is within you -- then the question that Christians should be asking, is how must the Kingdom be entered? The answer is the proper application of the Key of Knowledge by turning the scriptures within your own mind and being -- i.e., "How terrible it will be for you experts in religious law! For you hide the key to knowledge from the people. You don't enter the Kingdom yourselves, and you prevent others from entering" (Luke 11:52). Thus, in understanding these words spoken to the Pharisees, the questions must be asked: How did the Pharisees and Jewish authorities"...hide the key to knowledge from the people"? Why did Jesus condemn the leaders of the Jews for failing to enter the Kingdom themselves? -- i.e., "...You don't enter the Kingdom yourselves"! And how did the religious leaders of the Jews "...prevent others from entering?" That the primary objective of the Gospel is to prepare and enable the seeker/disciple to enter the Kingdom, is further demonstrated in Jesus' condemnation of the blind religious leaders as seen in the words: "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to" (Matt 23:13 NIV). Which means that the Kingdom of God is not something that will come if we wait for it -- but rather, it is a reality which man must seek and find -- within himself -- while still physically alive in this world.
Therefore, those institutions that assist and guide the lost prodigal sons and daughters into the Inner Kingdom while still physically alive in this world, are the institutions that the Prince of the Right Hand work through. Those institutions that make empty dogmatic and theological promises to blind believers -- without guiding the believer into and through the inner "narrow gate" and into the Inner Kingdom, are controlled by the spirit of the Left Hand. As stated by Peter: "a law [was] laid by God ...on each of the two princes, him of the right hand and him of the left, that neither should have power over any one whom they might wish to benefit or to hurt, unless first he had sat down at the same table with them". Which means that if it can be demonstrated that the teachings of the modern Church is based upon the dogma or philosophy that is not based upon original Gospel teachings, then the Church itself lacks the necessary Wholeness to guide the believer into the Inner Kingdom, and it is the spirit of the Left Hand that the congregations of believers are hearing. .
The primary doctrine of the Church is not drawn from the Original Gospel teachings of TheWay -- but rather, the doctrine of Original Sin had to be imported from the Mithraic based teachings of the Iranian prophet Mani, in order to explain and fill the great void that the Church suppression of important teachings on the pre-existent soul created. Thereby creating a pagan foundation to the Church that rendered Christianity spiritually impotent. Yet, Jesus himself in the Gospels stated just the opposite in the words: "They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance" (Mark 2:17). Contrary to the Church dogma, if Jesus is the physician, then those who achieve and sustain a condition of Wholeness, do not need the physician -- and as a physician, Jesus did not come for the salvation of those who are Whole, but only those who are sick and in need of the physician. And in direct opposition to Church dogma, what this also means is that at the time of Jesus, there existed people who he portrays as "whole [and] righteous" who did not need Jesus the physician (see The Original Teachings Have Nothing In Common With Church Dogma http://TheCall.Nazirene.org#OriginalTeachings ).When Prof. John Allegro was quoted as saying that what has been revealed in the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls is a great amount of overwhelming evidence that “...may upset a great many basic teachings of the Christian Church. This in turn would greatly upset many Christian Theologians and believers. The heart of the matter is, in fact, the source and originality of Christian doctrine” (August 1966 issue of Harpers Magazine), few modern Christians have even begun to understand why Prof. Allegro made this statement, which confirmed the position of A. Powell Davies that: “Biblical scholars were not disturbed by what they found in the Dead Sea Scrolls because they had known all along that the origin of Christianity was not what was commonly supposed to have been” (quoted by Millar Burrows in More Light on the Dead Sea Scrolls). What was it about the Original Foundational Gospel teachings that had virtually nothing in common with what modern Christians believe today? And perhaps the more important question: Does it matter? While most Christians remain ignorant of why biblical scholars published these long ignored warnings, the majority of believers felt that so long as the Church had the Bible as their guide, that the historical facts they remained ignorant of really didn't matter. Yet, in light of a series of even more profound statement by scholars such as Prof. Bart D. Ehrman that the Bibles that the Church is using has been edited with core spiritual teachings removed -- wherein in his book, The Orthodox Corruption of Scripture, he warns us that:"...theological disputes, specifically disputes over Christology, prompted Christian scribes to alter the words of scripture in order to make them more serviceable for the polemical task. Scribes modified their manuscripts to make them more patently ‘orthodox’ and less susceptible to ‘abuse’ by the opponents of orthodoxy" -- which orthodoxy was to bring the text of the Bible into conformity with the doctrines and tenets of the Church of the Roman Emperor Constantine. As documented in the article BibleCorruption.com , the Gentile believers who portrayed themselves as Orthodox Christians, had been editing -- and in their manner of thinking -- correcting the scriptures since the first century. In his Introduction to the Criticism of the New Testament, by Dr. F. H. Scrivener, he writes that: "In the second century we have seen too many instances of attempts to tamper with the text of Scripture, some merely injudicious, others positively dishonest". Scrivener states that "it is no less true to fact than paradoxical in sound, that the worst corruptions to which the New Testament has ever been subjected, originated within 100 years after it was composed: and that Irenaeus and the African Fathers, and the whole Western, with a portion of the Syrian Church" used inferior manuscripts. Under the title of Bible in the Church, the Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics writes: "In the first two centuries nearly all the various readings of the New Testament came into existence, the majority of them by deliberate alteration of the text, many for the sake of style, and several in the interests of dogma… Often readings were rejected as falsifications of heretics, but often the heretics were right in their counter-complaint… Every province, every order, every monastery, has a tradition of its own…" If every province, every order, and every monastery in the first two centuries had their own version of the scriptures which were corrupted to support their favorite doctrines of belief, then we must seriously ask the question as to what has been passed down to us today?
Peter portrayed the proverbial Simon Magus in the Clementine writings where the Apostle Peter explains that: "Simon Magus ...is a power of the left hand of God, and has authority to do harm to those who know not God..." Peter then goes on and explains that Simon "...has been able to involve you in diseases; but by these very diseases, which have been permitted to come upon you by the good providence of God, you, seeking and finding him who is able to cure, have been compelled to submit to the will of God on the occasion of the cure of the body, and to think of believing, in order that in this way you may have your souls as well as your bodies in a healthy state." First it must be recognized that disease, strife, hardships and sufferings, all serve a higher purpose. But this is for the most part impossible for modern man to understand, because they possess no essential knowledge of the Natural Laws that returns to each soul/person the fruit of their own past actions. And it is our own past actions that through the Natural Laws, has orchestrated the Conditions of each person's birth (see Conditions Of Birth @ http://reincarnation.nazirene.org/#ConditionsOfBirth ).
The Laws that were put into action and invoked in the Alpha or beginning of Creation, evolve all of mankind by returning back to him the fruit of his own actions. Whereby mankind is perpetually confronting self -- the good, the bad and the saintly and the ugly evilness of his lower animal beastly nature (see Organic Man Ruled Over By His Lower Animal Nature http://SoulSelf.org#AnimalNature ). Thus, provoking the question that has been posed on countless occasions: How can strife and disease be brought about by the "good providence of God"? Which means that what man perceives to be bad and evil, has been invoked upon mankind directly by the Laws of God.
Thus, the question also set before us is how can God raise up and imbue a person as personified in the personage of Simon Magus with what Peter states is the "authority" to inflict harm upon mankind who are portrayed as "...those who know not God"? The personage of God in the Old Testament proclaims with respect to the source of what man calls evil: "I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the LORD, do all these things.'" (Isa 45:7 NKJ). And in man's ignorance of the Laws, the vast majority of people are seen condemning what they do not understand -- and in his blind condemnation of what he fails to understand, man remains ignorant of the true cause of what he proclaims to be evil -- i.e., "Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?" (Amos 3:6 KJV). Thus, there is nothing that exists in this world, that has not been orchestrated and brought about by the Laws of God -- i.e., "The LORD of hosts has sworn, saying, "Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, and as I have purposed, so it shall stand" (Isa 14:24 NKJ). And until a man begins to understand the true source and purpose of what he calls evil, he cannot know anything of any true substance. If, as Jesus confirms, that not even a single sparrow can fall to the earth apart from the Will of God, then the source and calamities of evil that befall mankind, are the result of the Laws that return to each person the fruit of their own previous actions. Thus, Jesus warns the man who he previously healed by making him whole: "Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee" (John 5:14 KJV). We must therefore ask: If our own actions can, and do cause "...a worse thing [to] come unto [us]", how is this tribulation brought about? The answer is that there were Laws put into action at the very beginning of Creation which returns to each person the fruit of their own actions -- “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows” (Gal 6:7 NIV). And it is these Laws at work in the lives of mankind that mature the lost prodigal son -- driving him from the Alpha of Ignorance and Unknowing, to the Omega of Perfection and Enlightened Light -- enabling him to return to the Edenic Kingdom of Origination.
It is stated in the Gospels that Jesus was sent "...only to the lost sheep of Israel", because as a servant of the Right Hand, he was barred by the Laws from intervening in the lives of those who were under the dominion of the Prince of the Left Hand. In like manner, it is near impossible to understand the Gospel account of Jesus and the Syro-Phoenician woman, without understanding what Peter stated in the above quotation with respect to the Laws. Thus, it is written: "For a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit heard about Him, and she came and fell at His feet. The woman was a Greek, a Syro-Phoenician by birth, and she kept asking Him to cast the demon out of her daughter. But Jesus said to her, Let the children be filled first, for it is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs. And she answered and said to Him, Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs under the table eat from the children's crumbs. Then He said to her, For this saying go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter. And when she had come to her house, she found the demon gone out, and her daughter lying on the bed" (Mark 7:25-30 NKJ).
Why did Jesus not immediately help her? Why did he portray the woman as a dog? What is the spiritual meaning of the children's bread which is served at the Table -- bread that cannot be eaten by those people portrayed as dogs? Why did Jesus command: “Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine..." (Matt 7:6). Because those who can be portrayed as dogs, are under the domain of the Prince or Power of the Left Hand -- which ultimately is a Power of Correction. And, the Laws which were instituted by Creator-God in the beginning, inhibited Authorities of the Right Hand such as Jesus, from relieving the infirmities of those who sat down at the table on the Left -- people who Jesus portrayed as dwelling in the "outer darkness" of mind and being (see Outer Darkness) -- and even existing in a type of Prison (see The Prison). And with respect to the Two Princes, again Peter explains: "But that this is so, has been said even by the law in the person of God: ‘I will kill, and, I will make alive; I will strike, and I will heal. For, in truth, He kills and makes alive. He kills through the left hand, that is, through the evil one, who has been so composed as to rejoice in afflicting the impious. And he saves and benefits through the right band, that is, through the good one, who has been made to rejoice in the good deeds and salvation of the righteous."
Where Peter explains "...that neither [Prince] should have power over any one whom they might wish to benefit or to hurt, unless first he had sat down at the same table with them", it must be understood that the food that one receives at the Table with the Prince of the Left or Right Hands, is the knowledge or nourishment that is the foundation of the thinking, mindset and resulting lifestyle that is lived out by the lost prodigal sons. Where it states in the Revelation that "To him who overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna" (see Opening The Eyes Of The Heart - Rev 2:8-17), this "hidden manna" is the the Knowledge/Gnosis or the Divine Manna that can only be imparted to the seeker directly from the Indwelling Logos and True Prophet (see The True Prophet) @ http://OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org#TrueProphet -- who is the ONLY TEACHER that Jesus commanded to seek out and learn from.
