Genuine Belivers Fulfill the Works and Miracles of Jesus

In a Religious Discussion group the question was asked about the relationship of mythology and religion. In the below I added into the equation historical events that did not happen, as well as miracles that could not have happened. And since few people understand why the authors of the scriptures employed myths, non-historical events, and miracles that never physically happened, my below reply is extremely important to those drawn to the Gospel in pursuit of Higher Truth. If you are a true believer, you will have performed the works and miracles that Jesus stated will be a sign that you are a genuine Christian believer.

With respect to performing the same miracles that the Gospels state that Jesus performed, it is stated: "Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these" (John 14:12). The below demonstrates that modern Christians can't fulfill these words because they fail to apply the gospels as the Key of Knowledge, and they fail to perform the necessary works and miracles within their own mind and being as they become resurrected into the Inner Kingdom. Having failed to fulfill the Gospel, they neither are sincere believers or worthy of the Lord as stated in the words: “And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it” (Matt 10:38-39). Having failed to fulfill the works and miracles, they are not sincere believers.
Not to understand WHY the authors of the scriptures used myths and miracles that never physically took place, is an example of why organic man is totally disconnected with his Inner True-Self that is personified in the great adage to seek to Know Thyself. Where the undeveloped mind blindly believes the literal text of the scriptures that were portrayed by Paul as the "letter that killeth [and] Jewish folktales" (see 2 Cor 3:6; Titus 1:14) because they are interpreted as actual historical accounts -- whereas, the more intelligent person understands that the whole of the scriptures must be understood as events and realities of their own mind as they embrace the process of mental-expansion and spiritual deepening as explored at The Cosmology Of The Gospels http://GospelCosmology.Ebionite.com .

Your True-Self that exists at the core and essence of your own Mind and Being, is as a prisoner who must tolerate a dumb-ass ego-self that is incapable of considering truths that has been set before the person they are in this world. Do you want to know why the authors of the scriptures used myths and as Paul states, folktales, in their writings? And when you are told the reason why, your dumb-ass ego-self is incapable of comprehending the great truths and realities that have been set before you. Why? Because you blindly believe the folly of the critics who are no more intelligent than those who blindly believe that the scriptures are actual historical accounts -- which has long ago proven to be false.

The Gospel account of Jesus portrayed those who interpret the scriptures outwardly as actual historical narratives and ritual and tradition as the "spawn of the devil". Which provokes the question: Are the critics who are mentally shackled by their dumb-ass ego-selves any different, when they also attempt to interpret the scriptures outwardly as historical narratives any more intelligent than the blind believers? Even though one of the authors of the Epistles portrays the literal text as the "letter that killeth [and] Jewish folktales"?

If the people who embodied all that is portrayed in the term dumb-ass ego-selves had any inner connection to their imprisoned True-Self, then they would know why the authors of the scriptures employed myth, folklore and events that not only never historically transpired. Their own True-Self knows the important reason -- but they have been so alienated from their True-Self, that they are incapable of making an intelligent inquiry. If the Myth, Folklore and Miracles fail to be brought about within your own mind, then you will fail to make any real progress in this present life. When the Church was accused of being a "secret system" (see The Christian Secret Doctrine http://nazirene.org/secret_doctrine.htm  ) -- teaching the spiritually mature a totally different doctrine than the common blind-believer who was incapable of comprehending the higher reality of their own Soul, the Church Father Origen explained with respect to the belief in the physical resurrection that it was “...preached in the Churches …for the simpleminded and for the ears of the common crowd who are led on to live better lives by their belief” (see Origen, Contra Celsum). When the scriptures are applied as the Key of Knowledge (see Application Of The Key Of Knowledge http://KeyOfKnowledge.org#ApplicationOfTheKeyOfKnowledge ), intelligent seekers must come to the realization that what is personified in the resurrection must be brought about within your own mind and being, in order for the ego-self to become your True-Self.

What the above means is that fulfilling the Gospels and performing the works and miracles that Jesus did, is in fact a true test of belief.  Jesus stated: If you truly believe, then you will have performed the works and miracles that Jesus did.  And having brought about the Resurrection within you, you will know the Truth that makes the prodigal sons and daughters free, because the Lord will have healed your organic blindness (see The Three Causes Of Human Blindness http://OriginalGospel.Ebionite.com#ThreeCausesOfHumanBlindness ), and you will have been restored to the Edenic Kingdom which your Soul abandoned in the Alpha of Creation.  Unless you accomplish the required works and miracles that the Gospels attest you will perform, then your lips are lying when you claim to be a believer -- i.e., "'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me" (Matt 15:8).  Test those who claim to be a believer -- i.e., “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.  You will know them by their fruits" (Matt 17:15-16).   Only those who convey to you how to perform the works and miracles and consciously enter the Inner Kingdom, are genuine believers.
