 The Shadow-Realm Inwhich We Dwell

Why would Carl Jung state that the shadow challenges the whole ego-personality?  And portray the need to acquire self-knowledge in pursuit of fulfilling the adage to Know Thyself?  Because this realm is a Shadow-world as portrayed in the analogy of Plato's Cave (see Plato - The Physicist http://KnowThySelf.Nazirene.org#Plato ).  Which means that the ego-self is a shadow-personality of our True-Self -- which is why mankind is often portrayed as the false or earthly-self.  Therefore, the moment we think of ourselves as the real-self, is the moment we become victims of the false reality of this world which in the parable of the prodigal son is portrayed as the Far Country. 

Modern cutting-edge science has proven the truth of the above analogy of Plato's Cave (see The Findings Of The Physicist http://KnowThySelf.Nazirene.org#FindingsOfThePhysicist ).  Which means that not only our True-Self, but all reality is metaphysical -- i.e., beyond the physical.  But mainstream science does not like the word metaphysical, because it is beyond their ability to explore in a three-dimensional laboratory.  Yet, the true facts are generally ignored by the scientific community.  In an article Things That Science Can't Explain by Dr. Claude Swanson, he writes: "There are many things modern science cannot explain, and yet they occur anyway. This includes phenomena in the "hard sciences" as well as in the paranormal. These effects are now being proven in the laboratory, even though they defy present scientific theory. These unfolding mysteries point the way to a new, deeper science, a science which no longer denies spirit and consciousness, but acknowledges and embraces them.  In the past three decades scientific evidence has accumulated showing that the present scientific paradigm is broken."

Nikola Tesla stated: “The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence.”   And therein lies the problem as seen in the fact that so long as science refuses to seek the answers to life that exist only on a metaphysical plane of higher consciousness, mankind will remain disenfranchised from his own True-Reality.  Quoting from http://TheLawOfOctaves.com : Who is more enlightened? The scientist or the mystic? The problem that confronts mankind in the twenty first century is that it is not one or the other -- and the vision of both the modern scientist and the mystics each have their truths that support the greater enlightened vision of man's higher reality. Astrophysicist Robert Jastrow, who was the head of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies wrote in his book, God and the Astronomers, that “The scientist has scaled the mountains of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of [mystics] who have been sitting there for centuries.” For clarification, I replaced Robert Jastrow's word theologians with the word mystics for clarification.

What is a mystic? It is a person who is willing to seek beyond what he sees with his physical eyes, in order to gain a deeper understanding. Therefore, the word portrays a person who develops the inward-looking attributes of mind in order to connect to and learn directly from the Divine Mind that many portray as God. When the historical man Jesus stated that the Kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:20-21), this statement should have provoked the question: If the Kingdom of God is within me -- at the core and essence of my mind and consciousness -- then what is stopping and inhibiting me from entering the Kingdom and Knowing God? The answer is: The vibratory frequency of your own mind that is monitored by the Natural Laws of Creation which has often be portrayed as The Laws of Nature and Nature's God. Once again quoting Nikola Tesla: “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” The mystic learns that testing points exist that are built into the Laws of Creation that must be satisfied, in order to move beyond the barrier that these Laws present to the seeker of higher truth and knowledge.  And that if you wish to see and understand the Source of both Self and Creation, then you must bring about a change in your own  frequency and vibration”.  Which is exactly what the man Jesus revealed to his disciples when he taught them how to enter into the "narrow gate" (see The Narrow Gate And The Enigma Of The Law Of Octaves http://TheLawOfOctaves.com#Intro ).  And therein lies the problem as seen in the analogy of the Cross that each person must themselves embrace in their own lives (see The Law Of Octaves And The Cross http://TheLawOfOctaves.com#TheCross ).
