The Enigma Of The Scriptures -- The Inconvenient Truth of the Scriptures

While David Fitzgerald who is often portrayed as "the busiest atheist activist" is not wrong in his critique of Christians and their inability to explain a reasonable critique of the scriptures, neither is he right in any sense of his own understanding of the scriptures.  To even begin to understand why Christians can't answer even a reasonable critique of the scriptures they attempt to defend, you will have to first understand why the Christians not only rejected, but even hunted down the authors of the scriptures as heretics (see Scriptures Written By Mystics Who Were Hunted Down As Heritics http://AnInconvenientTruth.org#WrittenByMystics )?

Then you would have to understand why the authors of the scriptures viewed the common people as (spiritual) Mules who served the higher purpose of transporting sacred writings which they did not understand the true meaning of, into the future for the betterment of both the authors, and the people who acted as Mules (see The Bible As A Trojan Horse http://AnInconvenientTruth.org#TrojanHorse )?  Which provokes the question: Why can't Christian believers and critics alike understand the meaning of the mystical writings which the author's themselves portrayed as containing falsities which cause them to be portrayed as The Books With The Power To Deceive (see http://AnInconvenientTruth.org#BooksWithPowerToDeceive )?  Because the scriptures in the words of the original authors contain what they portray as bad beliefs about God that are presented as a test to the reader (see The Folly Of Bad Beliefs About God http://AnInconvenientTruth.org#BadBeliefsAboutGod ).  Thus, while the answers to the questions of both the critics, as well as the believers, have existed since the first century, the answers have been perpetually rejected as heresy, just like the original authors of the Gospels who were hunted down as heretics.

David Fitzgerald has been portrayed as a writer and historical researcher who has been actively investigating the Historical Jesus question for over ten years -- with one of his books named Nailed: Ten Christian Myths That Show Jesus Never Existed at All.  Which demonstrates that because David Fitzgerald embraced the same exact error as his Christian counterparts when he failed to understand the very purpose and objective of the scriptures.  It is easily demonstrated that the scriptures are not historically accurate (see The Purpose Of The Scriptures http://GospelCosmology.Ebionite.com#PurposeOfTheScriptures ).  And it is easily proven that the events reported on the crucifixion, cannot be justified from an historical perspective.  Yet, both the critic and the believers perpetually ignore the reasons why the Gospels were intentionally composed so that they could not be read literally/historically.  Yet, both the critic and the believer continue to ignore the fact that the Gospels were composed by Mystics as an allegorical blueprint of the mind that employs symbolism that acts as catalysts that are used to connect the person you are in this world, with your Inner Eternal Self that is often portrayed in the adage to Know Thyself -- i.e., the person's true-self which the ego-self must find and connect with, within the core of their consciousness.  Among the teachings that were suppressed by the Church is the statement of Jesus that has been preserved in the Gospel of Thomas that warns: "Jesus said ...But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty".  That the real objective of the scriptures is to be used within your own mind as the Key of Knowledge, is why the Apostle Peter warned that the scriptures cannot be read literally/historically, or interpreted in an outward understanding of the text (see The Grave Error Of Human Organic Interpretation Of The Scriptures http://TheLawOfOctaves.com#ClementScriptures  ).

Mystics do not compose historical accounts in a material world, which world they totally reject the reality of.  Mystics compose spiritual accounts that are concealed within an allegorical facade of quasi-historical narratives which the common people promote without understanding the embedded higher spiritual meaning.  Spiritual communities such as the Essenes and the Ebionite followers of Jesus, portrayed the physical body and this world as a prison that held them captive until they achieved spiritual release when the Kingdom came within them (see The Coming Of The Kingdom http://TheLawOfOctaves.com#Clement ).    While the answers to both the critics and the mentally befuddled believers was right before them in the very writings of the declared heretics who authored the scriptures, neither could even begin to comprehend the wisdom and knowledge that Jesus was referencing when he was asked why he only spoke to the multitudes in the enigma of allegorical parables, and he explained: “Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand” (Mark 4:11-12).  Why?  Any person can find the answers to the enigma of the scriptures at the witness of the Soul who lived as the Brother Of Jesus at  http://BrotherOfJesus.org .  Oh, you say, that Jesus did not teach reincarnation.  Find the answer at The Pre-Nicene Position Of The Church On Reincarnation https://brotherofyeshua.blogspot.com/2022/04/the-pre-nicene-position-of-church-on.html

Paul portrayed the Essene, Ebionite Nazirenes as a "remnant" (Rom 11:5) that is representative of a "cultivated olive tree" that the Gentiles are dependent upon to be grafted into.  Yet, the Church of Rome rejected what Paul portrayed as the "cultivated olive tree".  In contradistinction to the fact that it was from the Essene Ebionite Nazirene "cultivated olive" source that the New Covenant was drawn from.  But with the Church's adoption of the Old Testament scriptures that Paul correctly portrayed as the "letter that killeth" (2 Cor 3:6), which stated was comprised of allegory built upon "Jewish fables" (Titus 1:14) -- and it is the adoption of the Old Testament as actual historical accounts, that has totally undermined the spiritual foundation of the Gentile Church.   Why did Paul portray the Torah as  the "letter that killeth"?  Because when it is read literally, it not only has no historical basis -- but because the literal text is a collection of "Jewish fables", more people have been negatively impacted than helped by it.

In the PBS series, The Bible's Buried Secrets, archaeologist William Dever of the University of Arizona stated: "It challenges the Bible's stories if you want to read them literally, and that will disturb many people." In further examining the problem it was asserted: "The farther you go in the biblical text, the more difficult it is to find historical material in it," says David Ilan of the Hebrew Union College in Jerusalem. "The patriarchs go back to Genesis. Genesis is, for the most part, a compilation of myths, creation stories, things like that. And to find a historical core there is very difficult." For instance, archaeologists have found evidence that a small group of Canaanite slaves escaped from Egypt — not the mass migration described in Exodus.

The pre-Nicene Church Father Origen wrote with respect to the scriptures: “What man of sense will agree with the statement that the first, second and third days in which the evening is named and the morning, were without sun, moon and stars, and the first day without a heaven. What man is found such an idiot as to suppose that God planted trees in paradise in Eden, like a husbandman, and planted therein the tree of life, perceptible to the eyes and senses, which gave life to the eater thereof; and another tree which gave to the eater thereof a knowledge of good and evil? I believe that every man must hold these things for images, under which the hidden sense lies concealed” (Origen - Huet., Prigeniana, 167 Franck, p. 142).

Origen portrays those who see and believe only the written text of the scriptures as "idiots", because the scriptures were written in such a way that the more intelligent reader will immediately reject the folly of the written word, and seek out the Inner Spiritual meaning. Therefore, from the perspective of the authors of the scriptures who used the myths of the nomadic and heathen tribe of animal-sacrificing Jews to weave an allegorical portrayal of essential universal truths that were concealed beneath the literal text, only an "idiot" would surrender their gift of reason and common sense, and believe in the god of the Old Testament who has been insightfully portrayed as resembling the Wizard of OZ -- i.e., a magical nut case behind the curtain who liked physical circumcision, genocide of non-Jews including killing every woman & child -- a god who made man, then repented he even made man, and killed everyone on earth but Noah and his immediate family -- a god who kills a man for trying to steady the ARK, a voodoo god who loves animal sacrifice and blood sprinkling.

Is the scriptures nothing more than "...a compilation of myths, creation stories, things like that"? What both the believers and the critics have yet to understand and acknowledge, is the fact that the biblical authors who were Mystics, purposely wrote the scriptures with unhistorical assertions and events that could not have actually taken place, and then inserted and intertwined these accounts into the literal text that according to Origen, only an idiot would believe actually transpired, in order to inhibit intelligent people from reading them literally or historically -- thereby forcing the intelligent seeker to look beyond what Paul portrayed as the "letter that killeth [and] Jewish folktales" (see 2 Cor 3:6; Titus 1:14), and seek the inner esoteric spiritual meaning.

Modern Science has validated what they portray as an Unseen-Source-Field which mystics portray as Spirit -- see The Scientific Revolution http://TheLawOfOctaves.com#ScientificRevolution  .  Mystics have long associated what a person is able to see and understand, with the vibratory frequency of their mind -- which also controls your beliefs -- as stated by Nikola Tesla: “If you wish to understand the Universe think of energy, frequency and vibration.“

If you want to see what the mystic or spiritual person sees and understands about God and Spirit, then you will have to listen to the scientist who states that what you see and understand is in accord with your own "frequency and vibration" of mind. The authors of the scriptures understood what the scientist has only now proven with respect to the limitations of a person's perceptive-understanding based upon the
"frequency and vibration" of the person's own mind, and they composed the allegorical scriptures as a text-book which presents to the reader an allegorical blueprint of the person's own mind -- presenting to the reader the Laws and Forces of Consciousness that Jesus taught to his original follower who the Church hunted down as heretics (see The Law Of The Gospels http://TheLawOfTheGospels.com ).  And these sacred allegorical texts which are today known as scriptures, were used for their original intended purpose, by those few who desire see God and comprehend Spirit, and understand the necessity to change their  own "frequency and vibration" of mind in order to bring about the necessary Wholeness -- i.e., Jesus said: "They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance" (Mark 2:17).  Contrary to the dogma of the modern Church, if Jesus is the savior who every person needs for salvation, then Jesus himself said the Church was wrong, and those who are Whole do not need him.  And as a physician, Jesus did not come for the salvation of those who are Whole, but only for those who are sick and in need of a physician.   And in total opposition to Church dogma, what this also means is that at the time the historical man Jesus walked the face of the earth, there existed people who he portrayed as "whole [and] righteous" who did not need Jesus the physician.  Jesus openly states that his mission as a spiritual physician is not for them, because they achieved the necessary Wholeness without him.
