A Clarification on a Recent Health Care Action Alert - United Methodist Church

Shalom Jim Winkler:
While on one hand I am glad that my letter was forwarded to the General Board of the Church, on the other hand your acknowledgment of this letter saddens me -- much the same way that my Brother Jesus was saddened when the multitudes ignored or misinterpreted his compassionate outreach to them. What this means is that both you and the Methodist Church is responsible for what is presented in my letter, and while the vast majority of Christians fail to understand the warning, truly "to whom much is given, much more will be expected" is a determining factor that the modern Church has failed to convey to the congregations today. In my original letter entitled The Church Of Judas Opposes Sen. Ben Nelson On Abortion-Health Care, I demonstrate that the Church has failed in its mission to be a beacon of Light to the world. In subsequent articles, one entitled Was Jesus God? where I conclusively demonstrate the grave error of modern Church doctrine, and perhaps even the more important article which is a reply entitled Ann Coulter - The Fine Print - If You Can Find A Better Deal Take It!, I demonstrate the folly that is preached from our pulpits because of the foundational error in the erroneous teaching that Jesus was God. And as a soul who has walked side by side with the man who lived as the historical Jesus, and was myself the first leader of the Jerusalem Congregation (see http://BrotherOfJesus.org ), it would be better for the leadership of the Methodist Church to follow the advice of Jesus when he said: "It would be better to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around the neck than to face the punishment in store for harming one of these little ones".
In order to bring about healing through Wholeness, as Jesus taught those who would call themselves his disciples and followers, it is imperative that those who have been disenfranchised by false religious shepherds and worldly political leaders, understand the Laws at work in their lives (see The Laws That Perfect Mankind), and the reason for the appearance of sickness, suffering and evil in the world. True health care begins with prevention -- and to ignore the cause while promoting a worthless remedy, is truly the peddling of snake-oil by our modern cultural system of health care that has become known as Obamacare which the Methodist Church supports. Should we ignore the connection between smoking and cancer? Should we ignore the effect of the toxins dumped in a place such as Love Canal, and the resulting diseases and conditions which resulted from ground contamination? Why are people born into lives of extreme suffering and hardship as we see in Haiti today? Should we simply ignore what Jesus taught with respect to the Chickens Coming Home To Roost in the life of all people? And while you have a perfect right to support social-secularized health care that not only totally ignores the cause, but promotes the moral and spiritual toxins that has stricken modern man with the very diseases that they are claiming to support a cure -- to promote Obamacare's toxic snake-oil in the name of Jesus, is sacrilegious.
Why my Brother Jesus attempted to strongly convey to those who listened to him in the Sermon On The Mount, was that actions have consequences -- to the degree that the Law of Action and Reaction maintains what Jesus portrayed as a type of Prison (see http://DivineStrategery.com#ThePrison ). And as a Church which promotes itself in the name of Christ, you should not only be proactive in your system of health care that you promote -- but you should be endorsing the true cure that Jesus ordained, instead of the snake-oil of Marxist social-secular Obamacare. And while it is your choice to ignore the many statements of Jesus that warn of the relationship of the Laws and the ramifications of the words "Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee" (John 5:14 KJV) -- to ignore these Laws, and to waist valuable resources in trying to save those who have the potential to be resuscitated, while wasting time on providing life-sustaining care to corpses -- is representative of a true sin of spiritual abomination. Our culture has created an environment of human suffering and disaster -- and it is the responsibility of any emergency care giver, to evaluate those who can be helped and resuscitated, and those who would deprive even those who can be helped of the necessary treatment that would bring them back to life. If we were living in a time where the cultural environment itself promoted wholeness and well-being, then it would be a different scenario than what we are presently dealing with. But this is no longer the case -- simply because the Church itself has for son long promoted a Spiritual Lie, that it no longer has the option of expelling valuable time and resources on a spiritually destitute people who can't be revived. Obamacare is the equivalent of providing cigarettes to those in a cancer treatment center -- providing an alcoholic with moonshine -- a gambler with a free pass to a casino -- an adulterous husband with a black book with the phone numbers of a greater number of hookers -- or a murderer with a case of ammo for his favorite gun. Without addressing the cause of the disease, all you are doing is furthering the environment of the disease in order for it to spread to an even greater number of unsuspecting people. And as a Church that promotes itself in the name of Christ, it is spiritual apostasy to disregard the words of Jesus, while at the same time promoting government socialized snake-oil.
If you repent of promoting the very conditions that immerse the people in lives of disease, suffering and extreme hardship -- and return to the Essence of Gospel First Principles -- you will be provided greater guidance and spiritual resources as you move forward in the true healing of the people. Some important insight into the reality of the mainline Churches endorsement of socialism and Obamacare, is presented by Walter Williams in a commentary entitled America's Move Towards Tyranny where is wrote: Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis warned, "The greatest dangers to liberty lurk in the insidious encroachment by men of zeal, well meaning but without understanding." The freedom of individuals from compulsion or coercion never was, and is not now, the normal state of human affairs. The normal state for the ordinary person is tyranny, arbitrary control and abuse mainly by their own government. While imperfect in its execution, the Founders of our nation sought to make an exception to this ugly part of mankind's history. Unfortunately, at the urging of the American people, we are unwittingly in the process of returning to mankind's normal state of affairs. As a Church which puts itself forth as representing the teachings of Christ to a world immersed in the sickness of moral and spiritual depravity, to promote Obamacare to corpses by depriving the resources to those who still have a chance to be spiritually resuscitated, is an abomination and a wholesale rejection of what Jesus actually taught. Yes, Jesus had great compassion on the multitudes who had been led into lives of suffering and even death by counterfeit religious leaders who refused to first remove the beam from their own eyes, before they instructed the multitude to follow in their example. Here is the link to the Blog Index which provides great insight into the spiritual solutions that have befallen and stricken the victims of our modern culture. I would be glad to set aside time to discuss with you or anyone else in the Church, how to better support the healing of Wholeness prescribed by my Brother Jesus and the Original Jerusalem Congregation, than to continue to promote the Marxist Socialism that is the foundation of Obamacare.

-------Original Message-------

Dear Allan,

A recent action alert on health care reform sent out by the General Board of Church and Society to Nebraska United Methodists resulted in a number of responses, including yours. Some of those responses attacked one or more members of my staff. That makes it especially important for me to clarify some of the misunderstandings that have been circulated.

Our action alert encouraged United Methodists in Nebraska to remind our fellow church member, Senator Ben Nelson, of the official denominational stance that it is our belief that “it is a governmental responsibility to provide all citizens with health care” (United Methodist Social Principles, paragraph 162.V) and to ask him to support cloture in the Senate so that the health care legislation before the Senate could receive a fair hearing and vote.

At the time of the alert, Senator Ben Nelson had publicly expressed concern about several items in the bill. While abortion was among his concerns, a review of his December 27th remarks (Read his remarks at: http://bennelson.senate.gov/press/speeches/122709-01.cfm) will confirm that his chief concern was the potential economic cost of health care reform on Nebraska state finances, an issue which he was able to address.

Soon after our alert was sent, an article was published online which selectively and deliberately misquoted from and mischaracterized our message. Our action alert did not mention abortion at all because the Senate bill already maintained the status quo on abortion which prohibits federal funding for abortion (known as the Hyde/Helms amendment). Nevertheless, the online article inserted words which we did not write in order to make it appear that our action alert pertained to abortion.

We worked together over many months to outline several principles related to health care reform which reflect Biblical and theological foundational themes. You may find these principles by linking to www.faithfulreform.org/. I want to repeat again that our action alert had nothing to do with abortion. It is most unfortunate that you and a number of other people have been given erroneous information.

Thank you for writing to our agency to express your concerns. In the future, I encourage you to carefully read news accounts you may receive and to examine primary documents before assuming the worst.

Sincerely,

Jim Winkler
General Secretary
