The Trinity Of Error - New Age & Orthodox

In this article entitled The Orthodox teaching on death, judgment and the afterlife , we see what can be called the Duality of Error in both the New Age and the Orthodox interpretation of the scriptures, and this error is based upon self-ignorance and the failure to Know Thyself.   In the Gospel of Thomas Jesus states: "...But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty".  -- and what we have in this article is the Trinity of Grave Error. We can portray the article as the Trinity of Grave Error, because the author takes the error to new heights because of his statement that reincarnation is false.
Unlike the New Age or those whose thinking is bound by corrupted Epistles that were edited by the Church to support the teachings of Mithraism (see The Emergence Of Mithraic Christianity http://CausalFactor.Nazirene.org#MithraicChristianity ), in this forum we have the benefit of the witness of myself and others who have over the course of this and many other lifetimes, understand the Being of Light by virtue of a personal and intimate relationship.  What both the New Age and the Orthodox interpretation of the epistles is missing, is the fact that the Being of Light is your own True-Self -- i.e., your Soul-Self that is eternal, and is personified in the adage to Know Thyself.  And since the New Age portrays the Being of Light as Christ of God, and the Orthodox Christian portrays Being as the personification of the devil, what this means is that both sources are promoting their own poverty of intellect and knowing.   And while the true identity of the Being of Light is explored in three web articles at http://SoulSelf.org , and http://TreeOfLife.Nazirene.org , and http://BeingOfLight.com , the Near Death Experience is explored in the article Know Thyself at Scientism And The Folly Of The NDE And OOBE Critic http://KnowThyself.Nazirene.org#NDE_Critic
The opening statement of the author is perhaps the epitome of self-ignorance and man's relationship to his Higher Soul-Self where it states: "The Orthodox teaching on death, judgment and the afterlife differs greatly from the New Age model as expressed in currently popular interpretations of the NDE. The New Age view of NDEs is based on the presumption that NDEs represent a genuine foretaste of the afterlife, in which all souls, whether repentant or not, will be united with a tremendously loving, accepting, and non-judgmental superbeing—the so-called being of light—whose exact identity is left unspecified. No matter what one may do and believe in this life, New Agers suggest, this mysterious superbeing will forgive even hideous acts as merely part of the individual's learning process. No mention is made of repentance or spiritual struggle."   Why is the Being of Light non-judgmental?  Because the Being of Light is that person's True-Self - a twelve-dimensional Being that cannot directly incarnate into this three-dimensional sub-realm -- and the person you are in this world began as an embryonic projection of your Soul that incarnates into this world.  And because the ultra-important teachings on the pre-existent soul that evolves to Wholeness and Perfection over the course of many UNIQUE lifetimes was removed from the Gospels (see The Spiritual Castration Of The Gospels http://DevilSpawn.Ebionite.com#SpiritualCastrationOfTheGospel ), the judgment that the Orthodox believe in is actually brought upon each person in their Soul's future incarnations -- i.e., in the words of the Church Father Origen: “Every soul... comes into this world strengthened by the victories or weakened by the defeats of its previous life” (Origen, De Principiis).   Which can also be expressed in the words: "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Gal 6:7 NKJ).
Notice the words UNIQUE, with respect to my above portrayal of the lives the Soul lives.  Quoting from The Original Sin Of The Church http://CausalFactor.Nazirene.org#OriginalSinOfTheChurch : Virtually all of the sayings of the Gospel of Thomas was removed from the traditional scriptures and teachings (see The Gospel Enigma That Modern Christians Can't Comprehend ).   Saying 84 (see The Foundation Of The Soul And The Threefold Self ) restores the teachings on the pre-existent Soul and our own relationship to the previous lives our Soul has lived.   The saying demonstrates that the traditional belief in reincarnation as embraced by the Eastern religions is in error -- and while the Pre-existent Soul does evolve over the course of many lifetimes, each of these lifetimes are themselves unique incarnations.   And this is why the pre-Nicene Church Fathers rejected the traditional belief in reincarnation, they embraced the teachings of the pre-existent Soul that evolves to perfection over the course of many (unique) lifetimes.   Therefore, as a soul-generated personality, most people don't remember past lives, because they never lived them.
Jesus also taught that the only way to enter into what is personified as Life, must be brought about by achieving the next stage of birth where the person you are in this world enters into a Coverture-Union with your True-Self (see The Foundation Of A Coverture-Marriage http://BrotherOfJesus.org#FoundationOfCovertureMarriage ) -- i.e., Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3).  Those people who fail to achieve the next stage of birth while they are sill in the physical body, are portrayed in Gospel of Thomas saying 84 as failed images (of the Soul) -- i.e., (84) Jesus said, "When you see your likeness, you rejoice. But when you see your images which came into being before you, and which neither die nor become manifest, how much you will have to bear!"  Each of those images (previous personalities generated into a life by the Soul) that failed to "become manifest", can be portrayed as a spiritual miscarriage that was mentally derailed, and therefore failed to achieve the next stage of birth while still in the body-vessel.  And while there failed personalities do not cease to exist, they must return to their Source (the Soul) and dwell in what can be portrayed as the House of the Soul or Soul Mind-Matrix (see he Evolving Soul http://TreeOfLife.Nazirene.org#TheEvolvingSoul ).
The teaching of the Church that the person is judged and sent to hell or some other place of punishment, is based upon a total mistranslation of the Gospels. Quoting from the article on the Tree of Life ( http://TreeOfLife.Nazirene.org ):   In the Gospels the requirement is set forth in the words: "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it" (Matt 7:13-14 NKJ).  In order to enter in at the "narrow strait gate", one must prevail over the Laws that test us.  In the foregoing, the word translated "destruction" in no manner represents what is actually being presented.   Quoting the footnote on this word in the Schofield Reference Bible which reads: “There is no thought in these various words of annihilation but of something that is ruined and thus unsuitable or unable to fulfill its original purpose”.  Until one evolves to that condition of mental and spiritual maturity where they can prevail over the Laws, ...the Soul must continue to evolve over the course of how ever many lives is necessary to fulfill the Law within themselves.  And this is why the Soul who lived as the historical man Jesus prevailed over the Law, and became the Anointed -- i.e., his Ebionite Nazirene disciples stated that Jesus "...was justified by fulfilling the Law. He was the Christ of God, since not one of the rest of mankind had observed the Law completely. Had any one else fulfilled the commandments of the Law, he would have been the Christ, for they assert that our Lord Himself was a man in like sense with all humanity" (see Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34).   And it is the fulfillment of the Laws that is the destiny of all of mankind whereby each Soul will prevail when they allegorically pick up their own cross and travail in TheWay.  "And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?" (Luke 6:46 KJV).   And this is why Jesus warned those who would call themselves his followers and believers: “And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it” (Matt 10:38-39).  Those people who are portrayed as failed images that did not become "manifest" in the Gospel of Thomas, are those who failed to fulfill the Law and their life became  "ruined and thus unsuitable or unable to fulfill its original purpose”.   But in their ignorance, all modern Christians who reject the teachings of Jesus on the Law, are all the "failed images" that because of their man-made doctrines of belief, are "ruined and thus unsuitable or unable to fulfill its original purpose”.  And thus, their judgment is not at the end of their life -- but rather, is dynamic in their failure to bring about the next stage of birth that would permit them to enter into a Coverture-Union with their Higher Soul-Self -- and ultimately with the Logos/Son of God
The Gospels were not composed as historical accounts -- but rather, they present allegorical accounts of the Mind and Spirit that is necessary to bring about within the Life of the disciple, in order to transform the mind through the process of mental-expansion and spiritual-deepening, that enables the disciple to achieve the subsequent stages of birth (see Original Gospel at http://OriginalGospel.Ebionite.com ).  Which enable the person to achieve first a Coverture-Union with their Soul or True-Self, and ultimately accomplish what Jesus taught with respect to achieving a Coverture-Union with the Indwelling Logos/Son of God (see Coverture-Marriage - Was Jesus God? http://BrotherOfJesus.org#CovertureMarriage ).  And what this means is that neither the New Age of the Christian faith-based believers have any understanding of the reality of the Being of Light in the NDE, or the process of Birth that each of us must achieve to enter into the Life that Jesus made note of.
