Self-Knowledge -- The Wall Of Separation Dividing All People And Groups

Does Religion separate us?  No.  Isaiah present us with the facts and the truth that both critics and believers of religion have chosen to ignore -- i.e., "Those who guide this people mislead them, and those who are guided are led astray".  The Essence of all religious paths is based upon the quest for Self-Knowledge -- i.e., Gnosis or Divine Manna -- as in the adage to Know Thyself.  People who possess Self-Knowledge can't be led by blind-belief.  And in all cases, secular-political authorities corrupt the teachings, in order to control the thinking of the people.  Thereby de-spiritualizing the teachings, and rendering the them virtually worthless with respect to fulfilling the original purpose and objectives of the religion.  Which provokes the question: Is it religion that divides the people?  Or is it faux-authorities that invoke fear in the people, who are afraid to oppose the larger group who are controlled by the counterfeit leaders.  And through this fear, faux-authorities rule over the minds of the people and inhibit them from seeking Self-Knowledge -- which was and is the primary purpose of all religions movements.  Quoting from The Esoteric Gospel Teachings http://TheLawOftheGospels.com#EsotericGospelTeachings :

When Jesus accused the leaders of the Jews of throwing away the Key of Knowledge -- i.e., "Woe to you experts in the law! For you have taken away the key of knowledge; you did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering” (Luke 11:52) -- it is important to understand the source and type of knowledge he accused the Jews of throwing away. The word Knowledge that was being referenced to is translated from the Greek word Gnosis, as seen in the Greek Interlinear where it shows "knowledge" in this verse is translated from the word "gnosis" at https://biblehub.com/interlinear/luke/11-52.htm . Gnosis, from a biblical perspective is defined as: "Gnosis refers to knowledge based on personal experience or perception. In a religious context, gnosis is mystical or esoteric knowledge based on direct participation with the divine." TYet, the vast majority of faith-based Christians have been programmed to believe that Gnosis is heresy.  Regardless of the fact that the word Gnosis indicates Spiritual Knowledge that is revealed or taught to the person directly from the Divine Mind within them. This Divinely Revealed Spiritual Knowledge cannot be read literally in the writings of man -- it cannot be literally written in scriptures or religious writings -- it cannot be taught by a teacher or rabbi -- because it can only be taught to the person individually by the Divine Mind whose thinking and mindset is capable of receiving the Higher Spiritual Knowledge.

When Jesus stated to the Jews that the Kingdom would never come outwardly, because it is "within you" (Luke 17:20-21), this is "...knowledge based on personal experience ...based on direct participation with the divine" within the Mind of the disciple, as the person begins to open what is portrayed as the "narrow gate", and experiences the Kingdom coming within them -- i.e., "Then Jesus said to them, Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God arrive with power" (Mark 9:1). Which is why Peter acknowledged the coming of the Kingdom when he stated: ”looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God” (2 Pet 3:12). Which provokes the question: How could the believers in that time-frame of the first-century, hasten or speed up the coming of the Kingdom, if it was coming externally in the outer world? Yet, in every generation, doomsday prophets have predicted Armageddon and the coming of the Kingdom in their lifetime. That modern Christians continue to preach their End Times doctrines, is because they are as the Jews who threw away the Key of Knowledge/Gnosis -- which is the application of the Gospels within them.

If the Spiritual Knowledge could not be read literally in the scriptures where it could be learned and discerned by the Jewish scholars, then what is indicated is the fact that Jesus taught that there is an esoteric meaning to the scriptures that is not apparent or even understood by reading the literal text of the scriptures. And if the meaning of the scriptures could be simply understood by reading the text, then Jesus never would have portrayed the leaders of the Jews as the "spawn of the devil" who threw away the Key of Knowledge/Gnosis. And this is demonstrated when Jesus said to the Jews: "Why do you misunderstand what I am saying? It is because your spiritual ears are deaf and you are unable to hear the truth of My word" (John 8:43 Amplified Version). As to why the Jews could not understand the spiritual teachings and concepts, Jesus explained: "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out his desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, refusing to uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, because he is a liar and the father of lies" (John 8:43-44).

Jesus did not come to be worshipped -- i.e., "Good master, what good shall I do that I may have life everlasting?" Jesus rejected being called "good master" -- as seen when Jesus answered him: "And Jesus said to him, Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone" (Luke 18:19). Which means that Jesus came to provide the Key of Knowledge/Gnosis that would enable the lost prodigal sons to open the inner "narrow gate" -- as seen in his words: "...you did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering” into the Kingdom, and return to their Heavenly Father. Which provokes the question: What if you worship Jesus and throw away the Key of Knowledge/Gnosis -- rejecting the Message and the body of essential knowledge/gnosis as hearsay -- and in worshipping Jesus you are obstructing those who were attempting to enter as the Jews did -- portraying those who seek the esoteric knowledge as heretics -- then the god you are worshipping is in fact the Devil -- i.e., "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out his desires...".

In the same way that the Jews could not comprehend the Mysteries of the Kingdom because they threw away the Key of Knowledge, the Christians in their worldly carnal misinterpretation of the Gospel teachings, rejected even the sacred body of Knowledge that Jesus taught. And this fact is demonstrated throughout most of the Christian world where the word Gnosis is condemned as heresy -- and from a faith-based Christian perspective, is to be rejected. So, what this means is that Jesus accused the Jews who he portrayed as "...experts in the law", of throwing away the Key to acquire Gnosis -- which means that both Christianity and Judaism should be religions that seek to acquire Spiritual Knowledge or Gnosis that is not presented in the literal text of the scriptures where even those who are "experts in the law" remain blind to the spiritual meaning -- which Spiritual Knowledge can be portrayed as the Divine Manna of the Kingdom. In the case of modern Christians, they reject even seeking Knowledge/Gnosis -- they remain totally ignorant of using the Key of Knowledge to open the inner "narrow gate" to the Kingdom -- and they slam the door for those seeking to enter. Which means that modern Christianity is representative of Gospel Apostasy that rejects the teachings of Jesus, and opponents of Christ. Therefore, the question must be asked: Would Jesus praise Christians for rejecting the Spiritual Knowledge he came to impart to mankind? Hosea 4:6 warns that Christians will be rejected and -- "...destroyed for lack of knowledge." Isn't this the rejection of Christ by the modern Christian?

If the question is posed: Why should the word Gnosis be translated Divine Manna instead of the common knowledge drawn from the literal text of the scriptures? In the allegorical account of Exodus when Moses was guiding the Children of Israel through the wilderness, the substance they were provided for physical nourishment was portrayed as manna. Therefore, Divine Manna must be recognized as God-Given -- and is that knowledge-substance that only the Divine Mind can impart and reveal to those who embrace the Gospel teachings with the Whole of their Mind and Being -- Manna that cannot be read and found in the literal text of the scriptures without applying the Key -- Manna that cannot be written by the hands of men -- neither can Gnosis be written in any of the languages of man -- Gnosis cannot be taught by a rabbi or teacher -- and can only be taught and received in accord with the person's spiritual level of Consciousness -- and this Spiritual Knowledge/Gnosis can only be taught and imparted into the person by the Divine Mind -- i.e., "It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught by God.' Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me" (John 6:45). What we call religious teachings is the mindset and thinking that a person must embrace, in order to begin to receive the Divine Manna that can only be received directly from the Divine Mind of God. Therefore, this verse demonstrates conclusively that (1) even when a person is an expert in the written word of the scriptures, they are lacking the essential Knowledge that can be portrayed as the Spiritual Knowledge/Gnosis or Divine Manna of God and the Kingdom; and (2) there is no such thing as Gnostic scriptures that a person learns Gnosis from writings composed by the hands of man. All scriptures portray the inner journey that the person must travail, in order to begin to receive the Divine Manna in accord with the development and depth of the person's mind -- i.e., "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me" (Luke 9:23). Further stating: "And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me" (Matt 10:38). And the Gospel of Mark quotes Jesus as stating: "Then Jesus called the crowd to Him along with His disciples, and He told them, If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me" (Mark 8:34). .

The Church Got It All In Reverse

God is not interested in your sin.  God is interested in your Success.  What Success?  That you successfully develop and achieve Wholeness and Perfection in this school for his Prodigal Sons and Daughters.  And this is why if you fail in your present life, you will be presented with your failures in your future lives -- see Christian Reincarnation http://ChristianReincarnation.org  -- as many as is required for you to grow and evolve to Wholeness and Perfection as Jesus taught -- i.e., "You, therefore, must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect" (Matt 5:48).  That if you follow the Original Gospel teachings as restored at The Law Of The Gospels http://TheLawOfTheGospels.com ,  You can achieve the necessary Wholeness and Perfection as Jesus taught:  "They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance" (Mark 2:17). What Jesus was stating was that those people who he portrayed as "righteous", did not need him as a physician who came to heal the sick, because they had on their own taken advantage of the Original Opportunity to bringing about Wholeness, Perfection and Completion. Which raises the question: What, then, is stopping you, the reader, from achieving the Wholeness that Jesus himself confirmed you have the innate power to bring about in your life without any need of him (Jesus) or any other physician? The correct translation of the words: Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand which is preached in our Churches, is more accurately translated: "Open and unloose the mind" -- meaning, that you must release your thinking from the shackles of the Manichean doctrine of Original Sin, and embrace the Gospel teaching of Original Opportunity (see Original Sin Rejects Gospel Teachings http://TheLawOfTheGospels.com#OriginalSinRejectsGospel ). The meaning of the original Greek conveys a message of great depth that is not apparent in our English translations today. To phrase the thought that is being expressed, the true meaning is to “Open and unloose the mind, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand”. The Amplified Bible which presents the essence of the biblical text, states: “Repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life], for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” This is truly important for the person of faith to come to terms with -- for it is the beginning of The Way.   Jesus came to teach you to be successful.   Quoting from The Esoteric Gospel Teachings http://TheLawOftheGospels.com#EsotericGospelTeachings

When Did The Church Go Down The Broadway Of Self-Destruction?

It happened when the Gentile Church separated the Gospel teachings from the Spiritually Holistic lifestyle necessary to receive the Divine Manna directly from the One Teacher within them (see The One Teacher http://brotherofjesus.org/#TheOneTeacher ). In their inability to receive and be nourished by the Divine Manna (Spiritual Knowledge/Gnosis), the allegorical scriptures made no sense to their self-imposed limited understanding.
Contrary to the opinion of Scholars who have gone on record portraying the Roman Emperor Constantine as the corrupter of the Gospel, the Gospel teachings were discarded and done away with when the belief in Jesus was separated and removed from the Essene Ebionite mindset and lifestyle -- see The Spiritual Holistic Lifestyle  http://TheLawOfTheGospels.com#TheSpiritualHolisticLifestyle .  And this fact is demonstrated in the words of Edmund Wilson, an expert who worked on the Dead Sea Scrolls when he raised the question as to what difference it makes if “Jesus... had been trained in the discipline and imbued with the thought of a certain Jewish sect, and that he had learned from it the role that he afterwards lived...” (The Scrolls From The Dead Sea).  Why?  Because it was the spiritually holistic mindset and lifestyle of the Essenes, that is the foundation of receiving the Divine Manna (Gnosis) achieving the Anointing/Christing that the man Jesus received at his baptism in the Jordan.  And when the very words in the Gospels that God spoke to mankind acknowledging that by fulfilling the Law Jesus became the Adopted Son of God (see The Corruption Of The Words That God Spoke To Mankind https://brotherofyeshua.blogspot.com/2024/01/the-corruption-of-words-god-spoke-to.html  ), this ultimate corruption totally alienated the faith-based believers from any spiritual understanding of the Gospel teachings.  And the fact is that every Essene lived their daily lives in the process of achieving the goal of becoming Anointed/Christing by fulfilling the Spiritual Law that enabled the man Jesus to achieve At-Oneness with the Logos/Word/Son of God which the Essenes portrayed as the True Prophet (see The One Teacher http://BrotherOfJesus.org#TheOneTeacher )  And this fact was presented by Prof. John Allegro who was quoted as saying that what has been revealed in the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls is a great amount of overwhelming evidence that “...may upset a great many basic teachings of the Christian Church.   This in turn would greatly upset many Christian Theologians and believers.   The heart of the matter is, in fact, the source and originality of Christian doctrine” (August 1966 issue of Harpers Magazine).   What all the many recent archaeological discoveries have confirmed and demonstrated is that Prof. Allegro was correct in his assertion that our modern-day understanding of “the source and originality of Christian doctrine” is defective.   Why?   Because neither the original teachings or the corrupted scriptures support the tenets and structure of an organized dogmatic church as we have today.
What this means is that the man Yeshua/Jesus was the example of the mindset and lifestyle of the Essenes.  And the promise is that if you live in accord with the Essene mindset and lifestyle -- and fulfill the Law in the manner that Jesus taught and himself fulfilled (see Jesus Fulfilled And Taught The Natural Fulfillment Of The Laws Of God: http://TheLawOfTheGospels.com#JesusFulfilledTheLaw  ) --  that you will yourself Attain the Anointing/Christing that Jesus taught.

In a religious context, gnosis is mystical or esoteric knowledge based on direct participation with the divine." The word Gnosis then indicates Spiritual Knowledge that is revealed or taught to the person directly from the Divine Mind within them -- at the Core of their Consciousness. This Divinely Revealed Spiritual Knowledge cannot be read literally in the writings of man -- it cannot be literally written in scriptures or religious writings -- it cannot be taught by a teacher or rabbi -- because it can only be taught to the person individually by the Divine Mind -- and that person must live the necessary mindset, thinking and lifestyle that enables them capable of receiving the Higher Spiritual Knowledge/Gnosis.

Jesus did not come to be worshiped -- i.e., "Good master, what good shall I do that I may have life everlasting?" Jesus rejected being called "good master" -- as seen when Jesus answered him: "And Jesus said to him, Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone" (Luke 18:19). In the same way that the Jews could not comprehend the Mysteries of the Kingdom because they threw away the Key of Knowledge, the Christians in their worldly carnal culture and lifestyle cause them to be intellectually bound by their misinterpretation of the Gospel teachings, causing them to reject even the sacred body of Knowledge that Jesus taught. And this fact is demonstrated throughout most of the Christian world where the word Gnosis is condemned as heresy -- and from a faith-based Christian perspective, is to be rejected. So, what this means is that Jesus accused the Jews who he portrayed as "...experts in the law", of throwing away the Key to acquire Gnosis -- which means that both Christianity and Judaism should be religions that seek to acquire Spiritual Knowledge or Gnosis that is not presented in the literal text of the scriptures where even those who are "experts in the law" or written text of the scriptures remain blind to the spiritual meaning -- which Spiritual Knowledge can be portrayed as the Divine Manna of the Kingdom. Dr. Bart Ehrman Destroys The Crucifixion and The Resurrection History

The Truth About The Gospels

Dr. Bart Ehrman paradoxically and correctly states that the best of the Greek versions of the Gospels were (1) written thirty to forty years after the crucifixion; (2) by authors who did not know the man Jesus; (3) and the historical account of each Gospel contradicts the other Gospels.  And paradoxically, he is correct.  A paradox is when two opposing truths are equally true, and can only be justified through a higher third-reality that merges the opposing truths into One -- i.e., the original Gospels were (1)  written in Hebrew Characters (see The Original Spiritual Language Of The Gospels http://OriginalGospel.Ebionite.com#OriginalLanguage ); (2) they are not historical accounts; (3) they are not designed to instruct and teach; (4) they are designed to develop the person's inward attributes of mind that enables the person to begin to tap into their inner Source of Knowledge as explored at The Purpose Of The Scriptures http://GospelCosmology.Ebionite.com#PurposeOfTheScriptures .  Thus, to even beginning to understand the purpose of the scriptures, we are presented with what can be portrayed as the enigma of Human Consciousness that first must be understood: (1) Is the mind of an infant empty and in need of being taught the wisdom of man; or (2) does the infant possess an inner Source of Knowledge that is Superior to the wisdom of this world, and must be developed to permit the child to tap into this inner Source of Knowledge.  But, in the case of the Gospels, there is still a third reality that Bart Ehrman and other modern biblical scholars and authorities have not even begun to understand -- i.e.,  quoting the words of author and visionary Philip K. Dick who developed the ability to recall his Soul's life as a first century Christian, where he wrote with respect to the original disciples of Jesus that: "Christ ...taught his followers how to enter the kingdom while still alive, where other mystery religions only bring about amnesis: knowledge of it at the 'other time' in 'the other realm,' not here. He causes it to come here, and is the living agency to the Sole Good God (i.e. the Logos)."  What Philip Dick is stating is that Jesus was able to go beyond the process of learning from a person's past life experiences ("knowledge of it at the 'other time' in 'the other realm"), and he (Jesus) was able to teach his disciples how to actually enter the inner Kingdom while still physically alive in the body.  And perhaps the most important enigma of the equation is the reason why Jesus taught his disciples how to fulfill the Law of God within their own body and mind -- as explored at The Law Of The Gospels http://TheLawOfTheGospels.com .

What this means is that the Gospels are not about the historical accounts about a man named Jesus.  But rather, about accounts of the person's own consciousness that enable the person to develop all the attributes of higher-mind that enables them to become all that is personified in the name Yeshua/Joshua/Jesus, and gain entrance into the inner Kingdom while still alive in the physical body.  Which means that the twelve disciples are not twelve men who were followers of Jesus -- but rather, the twelve spheres of mind that is portrayed in the Tree of Life (see Tree Of Life http://TreeOfLife.Nazirene.org ).  And the most important knowledge necessary to gain entrance into the Kingdom within the person, is the knowledge of how to fulfill the (Natural) Laws within the person's own mind and being.

In a religious context, gnosis is mystical or esoteric knowledge based on direct participation with the divine." The word Gnosis then indicates Spiritual Knowledge that is revealed or taught to the person directly from the Divine Mind within them. This Divinely Revealed Spiritual Knowledge cannot be read literally in the writings of man -- it cannot be literally written in scriptures or religious writings -- it cannot be taught by a teacher or rabbi -- because it can only be taught to the person individually by the Divine Mind whose thinking and mindset has been purified and transformed, and is capable of receiving the Higher Spiritual Knowledge/Gnosis that can more correctly be portrayed as the Divine Manna or Sacred Knowledge/Gnosis of the Kingdom.

Which provokes the question: What if you worship Jesus and throw away the Key of Knowledge/Gnosis -- rejecting the Message and the body of essential knowledge/gnosis as hearsay -- and in worshiping Jesus you are obstructing those who were attempting to enter as the Jews did -- portraying those who seek the esoteric knowledge as heretics -- then the god you are worshiping is in fact the Devil -- i.e., "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out his desires...".

Like the leaders of the Jews, so long as Bart Ehrman continues to throw away the Key of Knowledge by interpreting the scriptures outwardly and historically, he will remain incapable of comprehending the meaning and purpose of the Gospels.  So long as Bart Ehrman continues to look for the historical Christ, instead of the Anointing/Christing within his own mind, he will remain totally alienated from the Source of Knowledge/Gnosis within him.  And because he condemns and rejects what he possesses no spiritual understanding of, he will continue to "...hinder those who were entering”, and he will  remain the ultimate apostate to the Spiritual Law and the Kingdom within him.  To those who throw away the Key of Knowledge by reading the scriptures outwardly and historically, Jesus said: "How terrible it will be for you experts in religious law! For you hide the key to knowledge from the people. You don't enter the Kingdom yourselves, and you prevent others from entering" (Luke 11:52). Thus, in understanding these words spoken to the Pharisees, the questions must be asked: How did the Pharisees and Jewish authorities "...hide the key to knowledge from the people"? Why did Jesus condemn the leaders of the Jews for failing to enter the Kingdom themselves? -- i.e., "...You don't enter the Kingdom yourselves"! And how did the religious leaders of the Jews "...prevent others from entering?" In further clarification, the TEV version of the this verse states: “How terrible for you teachers of the Law! You have kept the key that opens the door to the house of knowledge; you yourselves will not go in, and you stop those who are trying to go in!” (Luke 11:52 TEV). Thus, the scriptures when properly used and turned within your own mind, have the ability to "open the [inner] door to the House of Knowledge" -- and their outward interpretations whereby they seek the Kingdom to come outwardly (see The End Times - Armageddon/Rapture - The Coming Of The Kingdom http://TreeOfLife.Nazirene.org#EndTimes  ), inhibits believers from "going in [the House of Knowledge]" -- and by teaching the people their outward interpretations, they inhibited the community of believers from entering the Kingdom as Jesus taught.

The Illegitimacy Of Modern Christianity

Gnosis from a biblical perspective is defined as: "Gnosis refers to knowledge based on personal experience or perception. In a religious context, gnosis is mystical or esoteric knowledge based on direct participation with the divine."  The word Gnosis then, indicates Spiritual Knowledge that is revealed or taught to the person directly from the Divine Mind within them.  It cannot be read literally in the writings of man -- it cannot be literally written in scriptures or religious writings -- it cannot be taught by a teacher or rabbi -- because it can only be personally taught to the person as they fulfill the Law within them as Jesus taught, and can only be revealed to them by the Divine Mind.

Who can receive Gnosis from the Divine Mind?  And Why was the this Sacred Gnosis which was representative of the Knowledge of the Mysteries of the Gospel revealed only to the inner core of disciples?  When Jesus was asked why he spoke to the multitudes of people in the enigma of parables, he explained: "And the disciples came and said to Him, Why do You speak to them in parables? He answered and said to them, Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given" (Matt 13:10-11).  Why could only a very select few comprehend the Sacred Gnosis/Knowledge -- i.e., “Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand” (Mark 4:11-12)?   The Sacred Knowledge/Gnosis could only be received from the Divine Mind by those who had abandoned the ways and thinking of this world, and had begun to fulfill the Law within them as Jesus had taught them (see The Law Of The Gospels http://TheLawOfTheGospels.com  ).

Those followers and disciples who walked and talked with Jesus daily -- the very people who he personally taught -- those who could ask Jesus any question, and have Jesus explain his answer in fullness and depth -- all witnessed to the fact that Jesus was a true holy man who became the Anointed (Messiah/Christ) by fulfilling the Law of God within his own mind and being.  They affirmed what Jesus personally taught them -- i.e., that he (Jesus) "...was justified by fulfilling the Law. He was the Christ (Anointed) of God, since not one of the rest of mankind had observed the Law completely. Had any one else fulfilled the commandments of the Law, he would have been the Christ, for they assert that our Lord Himself was a man in like sense with all humanity" (see Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34).   And Jesus personally taught and guided them into the path where they were in the process of fulfilling the Law, and themselves becoming the Anointed (Messiah/Christ).  What does it mean to "fulfill the Law"?  Why hadn't "the rest of mankind observed the Law completely"?  If what Jesus taught his followers that "Had any one else fulfilled the commandments of the Law, he would have been the Christ", then the most important question for all the followers of Jesus is: What must they, and other people do, to fulfill the Law and become the Anointed (Messiah/Christ)?  And if what Jesus said with respect to the fact that he (Jesus) "was a man in like sense with all humanity", then there is no salvation in worshiping Jesus without doing what he taught to his closest of followers.

The many questions cannot be answered without understanding why Jesus condemned the Jewish experts in the Law as blind guides -- i.e., "Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch" (Matt 15:14).  Why are they blind?  Because they have thrown away the Key to acquire Gnosis/Spiritual Knowledge -- they did not enter in through the "narrow gate" within them -- and they "...hindered those who were entering”  Why?  When Jesus commanded his followers not to be teachers or rabbis -- i.e., "But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have One Teacher, and you are all brethren" (Matt 23:8).   With respect to learning ONLY FROM THE TRUE PROPHET, Peter warned Clement as quoted in the Clementine Homilies: “Hence, O beloved Clement, if you would know the things pertaining to God, you have to learn them from Him alone, because He alone knows the truth".  And with respect to this ONE TEACHER that they were commanded to seek out exclusively, the Apostle Peter is quoted in stating that the One Teacher who they portrayed as the True Prophet, is within the mind of all mankind -- at the Core of our Consciousness.  Thus, Peter is quoted as stating: "...And therefore I advise not only wise men, but indeed all men who have a desire of knowing what is advantageous to them, that they seek after the True Prophet; for it is He alone who knoweth all things, and who knoweth what and how every man is seeking. For he is within the mind of every one of us, but in those who have no desire of the knowledge of God and His righteousness, He is inoperative; but He works in those who seek after that which is profitable to their souls, and kindles in them the light of knowledge. Wherefore seek Him first of all; and if you do not find Him, expect not that you shall learn anything from any other. But He is soon found by those who diligently seek Him through love of the truth, and whose souls are not taken possession of by wickedness. For He is present with those who desire Him in the innocence of their spirits, who bear patiently, and draw sighs from the bottom of their hearts through love of the truth; but He deserts malevolent minds, because as a prophet He knows the thoughts of every one. And therefore let no one think that he can find Him by his own wisdom, unless, as we have said, he empty his mind of all wickedness, and conceive a pure and faithful desire to know Him. For when any one has so prepared himself, He Himself as a prophet, seeing a mind prepared for Him, of His own accord offers Himself to his knowledge”    Once again, this  "...esoteric knowledge based on direct participation with the divine" , is called Gnosis -- which is outlawed as heresy by modern Christianity.

What Peter is stating is that while the True Prophet exists at the core of all of mankind, (1) "...in those who have no desire of the knowledge of God and His righteousness, He is inoperative"; (2) "...But He is soon found by those who diligently seek Him through love of the truth"; (3) the True Prophet "...deserts malevolent minds, because as a prophet He knows the thoughts of every one"; (4) that we cannot find the True Prophet on our own as stated that "...let no one think that he can find Him by his own wisdom, unless, as we have said, he empty his mind of all wickedness"; (5) and that to draw nearer and find the Indwelling True Prophet, the seeker must "...empty his mind of all wickedness, and conceive a pure and faithful desire to know Him. For when any one has so prepared himself, He Himself as a prophet, seeing a mind prepared for Him, of His own accord offers Himself to his knowledge”.   When rightly understood, to find and learn from the Indwelling True Prophet, the seeker must become the "good ground" in the parable of the Sower and the Seed (see http://SowerAndTheSeed.Ebionite.com ).  And in the parable of the Sower and the Seed, the same seed that is cast into the ground that is properly prepared and produces in levels of abundance ("For when any one has so prepared himself, He Himself as a prophet, seeing a mind prepared for Him, of His own accord offers Himself to his knowledge” ), is unable to germinate and produce when the ground in which it has been cast is not properly prepared ("...but He deserts malevolent minds ...in those who have no desire of the knowledge of God and His righteousness, He is inoperative").

In the same way that Jesus commanded his followers to seek out the True Prophet by fulfilling the Law within their own body and mind, the spiritual meaning of the scriptures can only be taught by turning the scriptures within your own mind as the Key of Gnosis/Knowledge -- where the True Prophet can teach and enlighten you.  In the Homilies of Clement the Apostle Peter is quoted as warning with respect to reading and understanding the scriptures: "...therefore great care is to be taken, that when the law of God is read, it be not read according to the understanding of our own mind. For there are many sayings in the divine Scriptures which can be drawn to that sense which every one has preconceived for himself; and this ought not to be done. For you ought not to seek a foreign and extraneous sense, which you have brought from without".  If we ask the question: What is being said to the believer who desires to be faithful to the Gospel Teachings?  By design, the scriptures cannot be understood by the Linear (outward-male) spheres of mind.  Why?  Because the outward-looking spheres of mind see and understand in accord with the thinking of the outer world and culture.  And this fact is confirmed when Peter stated: "when the law of God (scriptures) is read, it be not read according to the understanding of our own mind"?  Why?  Because the scriptures are composed in a symbolic language that can only be interpreted and understood by the inward-looking (feminine) Intuitive spheres of mind.  The outward-looking Linear spheres of mind attempts to interpret all things literally and historically -- which is why Peter warns that "...For there are many sayings in the divine Scriptures which can be drawn to that sense which every one has preconceived for himself".   Further, Peter warns that "...For you ought not to seek a foreign and extraneous sense, which you have brought from without".  What this means is that if you attempt to interpret the scriptures in accord with a study group, a Biblical Commentary, in accord with the teachings of a Church, or from a human thought-perspective -- that you will not only fail to understand the meaning of the scriptures, but you will alienate and disenfranchise your mind from the true spiritual meaning.  Why?  Because the scriptures are composed in the language of the Soul that employs allegorical catalysts that are used to develop the inward-looking Intuitive Spheres of Mind as explored at The Purpose Of The Scriptures http://GospelCosmology.Ebionite.com#PurposeOfTheScriptures .

Spiritual Knowledge/Gnosis can only be received in accord with each person's fulfillment of the Law within them as Jesus taught his original followers.  As blind guides who portray Gnosis as heresy, modern Christians have no idea how the Law is fulfilled within the mind of the believer/seeker.  Therefore, in the abandonment of the Law, modern Christianity is Gnosis-Free and Spiritually Destitute
