While a case can be made about judging sinners, that case becomes moot when you, yourself, support and join in the sin of abomination! And this is exactly what the Church of Judas (aka United Methodist Church) is striving to do in their attempt to seduce Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson to support the Obamacare bill that would make all Americans sinners. Below you will find the story by
LifeNews.com about the Rev. Cynthia Abrams who has published an email (see
Article) in an attempt to lobby Sen Nelson to support abortion with taxpayer funds -- thereby forcing all Americans to act in concert with those who murder the unborn children.
On the one hand you have the wolf in sheep's attire who in the personage of Cynthia Abrams puts herself forth as representing the position of Jesus, and on the other side you have the truth as found in this reply -- by the soul who has come to be known as the
Brother of Yeshua/Jesus by many, who has no worldly title other than the one who has been sent into the world at this present time to make the Original Gospel Truth known to those who seek it. Cynthia Abrams writes that
"...Jesus set the bar high in reaching out to the disenfranchised among us" -- and states that all people who believe in Jesus should support the Obamacare health bill. And while Cynthia Abrams would very much like you to ignore the words of Jesus when he healed those who came to him -- i.e.,
"Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee" (John 5:14 KJV) -- the Church of Judas wants believers who will blindly follow counterfeit leaders and shepherds, into the proverbial ditch by the side of TheWay.
Why did Jesus warn the person who he had just healed to "...sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee"??? And in the same way that abortion is the result of a rejection of The Ten Commandments, Jesus said to the adulterous woman: "...go, and sin no more" (John 8:11 KJV). Wouldn't the act of murdering a child be a further rejection of what Jesus himself taught and commanded? And didn't Jesus also warn that "It would be better to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around the neck than to face the punishment in store for harming one of these little ones"???
That Jesus healed the sinners and condemned the counterfeit religious and political leaders, was because the sinners were the victims of their leaders who had led them astray. Is Cynthia Abrams and the United Methodist Church any less the heretics than the Pharisees who Jesus condemned? To even suggest that Jesus approved of sin, is an abomination -- i.e., in the words of Paul who authored the doctrine of faith: "But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor" (Gal 2:17-18 KJV). Further, another statement of Paul that is not being told to the congregation of believers, is the reality that those who knowingly sin after coming to the knowledge of the Truth, are no longer worthy of forgiveness with respect to the Laws -- i.e., in the words of Paul: "For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they then commit apostasy, since they crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt... For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries." (Heb 6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV).
What this means is that if a person claims to be a believer -- and yet knowingly sins after calling upon the name of the Lord -- that such a pseudo-believer commits "...apostasy, since they crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt..." And because they rejected the teachings and commandments of Jesus after calling upon the Lord, "...there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries." Unless you are willing to take the position that neither Jesus nor Paul meant these words, then you will be yourself counted among the Judas' who share in the same fate as all who crucify the Son of God.
The counterfeit leaders and shepherds will attempt to tell you that sinners have been saved by the blood of the Lord -- and yet, Paul warns that those who eat the body and drink from the cup of the Lord and continue to sin, eat and drink judgement unto themselves -- i.e., "Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep" (1 Cor 11:27-30 NKJ). What Paul is warning is that an unworthy or complacent Christian who attempts to eat the bread and drink the cup of the Covenant of Jesus, invoke the Laws which render them "...weak and sick among you, and many sleep"!!!
In her attempt to coerce Sen. Nelson to ignore the teachings and commandments of God, Cynthia Abrams ignores one of the earliest of writings known as the Didache (a.k.a. The Teaching of the Apostles), which is said to have been written by the hands of the Apostles of Jesus where it states at Section 2:2 states: "...thou shalt not murder a child by abortion nor kill them when born..." -- and at 5:2 it states: "The Way of Death is filled with people who are...murderers of children and abortionists of God's creatures."
What would Jesus do? Regardless of what you want to believe, abortion stops a heart from beating -- and anyone who stops a heart from beating, is a murderer. Jesus said to "...sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee"??? And those who continue to sin after calling upon the Lord, not only "...crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt..." -- but because they are apostates to the teachings of the Lord, "...there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins". And since no one can deny that the sacrifice for sins", that Paul is making reference to, is the blood that was shed upon the cross by Jesus himself, then sincere Christians have no other alternative but to reject both Cynthia Abrams and the United Methodist Church as apostates to the Lord.
