Has North Carolina Outlawed The Original Teachings of Jesus?
Is there a guarantee of First Amendment Religious Rights for the most religious and spiritual of believers and seekers? Or, is freedom of religion only guaranteed for the entry-level mainstream of Christians whose tenets of belief do not require a great amount of dedication and commitment? This is the question that has been set before the North Carolina Legislature. And when rightly understood, the question that is being asked is whether there are Constitutional protections ONLY for faith-based religion that has no real requirements, and do these same Constitutional protections also apply to the original teachings of Jesus and TheWay that has many personal requirements?
There are numerous Gospel teachings
and commandments that are often
overlooked -- except by the most
Spiritually Mature who arrive at
their level of Being, by
understanding and putting these
essential overlooked concepts and commandments
into the daily practice of their
lives. To be in the
world and not of it, one must
maintain a very high degree of
separation from the thinking,
mindset and lifestyle of those who
live carnal and cultural lives in accord with the
thinking and ways of this world.
With respect to the actions of the
original disciples as presented in
the Book of Acts, the spiritual
communities were to be set apart
from the culture and people of this
world to the degree that Paul
commanded the Christians to have
nothing to do with those who were
portrayed as being spiritually or morally unclean -- i.e.,
"Wherefore
come out from among them, and be ye
separate, saith the Lord, and touch
not the unclean thing; and I will
receive you" (2 Cor 6:17
KJV). To the degree that Paul
commanded the community of believers
not even to dine with sinners --
i.e.,
"I wrote to
you in my epistle not to keep
company with sexually immoral
people... But now I have written to
you not to keep company with anyone
named a brother, who is sexually
immoral, or covetous, or an
idolater, or a reviler, or a
drunkard, or an extortioner -- not
even to eat with such a person..."
(1 Cor 5:9-13 NKJ).
What causes the great variance in
religious beliefs and
lifestyle-practices? Why does
one person claim a religious
exemption from such things as
inoculations, while others of the
same religious faith have no problem
being vaccinated? Is
there a question of right or wrong?
Or, is each person's perceptive
vision of both their religion and
life in accord with their own level
of spiritual awareness and manifest
being? In accord with the level of the rungs on the proverbial Jacob's Ladder of spiritual attainment and sanctification, it is true
that more spiritually mature
Christians perceive and understand
at a much higher level than their
entry-level counterparts. And in view of the fact that the
spiritual requirements for each
level of attainment are different --
then it is important to understand
the cause of these vast differences
that often separates and creates
walls of division within the same
sect of believers and adherents.
But even more important is the fact
that while the entry-level of basic
faith-based believer has very little
in the way of requirements, it is
the more advanced spiritually mature
Christian who must be discerning and
set apart from the cultural
mainstream -- i.e., "to whom much has been given, much more will be expected".
Our
society is not accustomed to
thinking of levels of knowledge,
awareness and attainment within the
body of Christians.
It is important to understand the
reality presented in the Gospels
when Jesus spoke to the multitudes
in parables -- a system of
allegories designed to conceal the
inner meaning from the multitude of
hearers, while permitting only a
select group to understand the
esoteric truths that were being
revealed (see
Mystery Of The Gospel). And in
explanation of this process of
teaching and revealing in accord
with the level of spiritual
maturity, the disciples of Jesus
asked him why he spoke in enigmatic
parables, and did not speak plainly
to the people? Jesus said of his
disciples:
“The secret of
the kingdom of God has been given to
you. But to those on the outside
everything is said in parables so
that, they may be ever seeing but
never perceiving, and ever hearing
but never understanding”
(Mark 4:11-12 NIV). That the word translated
secret, is the same word translated
mystery, and makes reference to a body of
esoteric knowledge that is beyond
man's organic
"natural"
comprehension, is a reality that few
modern believers or the critics of
religion have been able to come to
terms with (see
An Inconvenient Truth). In
explanation of the previous words of
Jesus, the Wycliffe Bible Commentary
writes that:
“…the initiate was instructed in
the esoteric teaching... which was
not revealed to outsiders… The
mystery of the kingdom in its
ultimate development is the
full-orbed message of the Gospel
(Rom 16:25-26). The purpose of
parables was to instruct the
initiates without revealing the
items of instruction to the ones who
were without. This is in keeping
with the Biblical principle that
spiritual understanding is
restricted to those who have become
spiritual...”
The
key teaching and concept in the
above is the reality expressed in
the teaching that
"...the
Biblical principle that spiritual
understanding is restricted to those
who have become spiritual...”.
Which provokes the question: How
does one become spiritual?
In the parable of TheCall to the
Wedding Feast, those who had not put
on the required Wedding Garment of
Spiritual Purity, were thrown out
into the
"outer darkness" of mind
and being -- i.e.,
"Then the
king said to the attendants, ‘Bind
him hand and foot and cast him into
the outer darkness. In that place
there will be weeping and gnashing
of teeth’" (Mt 22:13) --
"I say to
you that many will come from east
and west, and recline at the table
with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the
kingdom of heaven; but the sons of
the kingdom will be cast out into
the outer darkness; in that place
there will be weeping and gnashing
of teeth" (Mt 8:11-12) --
"For to
everyone who has, more shall be
given, and he will have an
abundance; but from the one who does
not have, even what he does have
shall be taken away. Throw out the
worthless slave into the outer
darkness; in that place there will
be weeping and gnashing of teeth"
(Mt 25:29-30).
The original teachings of Jesus known as TheWay, was a system that enabled the lost prodigal sons who dwell in the "outer darkness" of this world -- i.e., portrayed as the Far Country -- to return to the Edenic Kingdom of our Heavenly Father -- the "narrow gate" entrance point, being within us (see GateOfEden.com ). But to accomplish this, the seeker/disciple must evolve to a condition of spiritual maturity -- putting on what was portrayed as the required "wedding garment" of purity (see Sacratments.Nazirene.org ) -- while seeking the Kingdom within. The problem which arose is the Church became institutionalized under Pagan Rome -- and became the victim of secularization. The series of emperors who ruled over the Church, suppressed the original spiritual teachings, and hunted down the more Spiritual Christians and murdered whoever refused to accept the religion of the emperor.
In our present time the original spiritual teachings of Jesus are being re-established and the viability of the Church is once again moving in a more spiritual direction. With the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls and many of the early suppressed Christian scriptures, the true spiritual foundation of the Church is once again being re-established. More and more Christians are seeking spiritual maturity and the Kingdom within. But to accomplish this transformation of the self, the Christian seeking spiritual maturity must purify the body as the Living Temple (see Temple), as they seek the next stage of birth that bestows upon them entrance into the Kingdom while still physically alive in the body-vessel. And thus, the commandment set forth by Paul "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you"
The requirement of the Christian seeking Spiritual Maturity is to be in the world and not of it. The Spiritual Christian lives in accord with biblical standards -- rejects the carnal-driven culture within which our society is presently immersed -- Spiritual Christians seek to become the "good ground" within which the Living Seed has been implanted (see Good Ground) -- like Daniel, rejects the diet of our society (see The End Times) -- and only puts substances that are pure and natural in their bodies.
In the spiritual abstract entitled Inoculations - From A Christian Biblical Perspective -- I demonstrate that in addition to defiling the body-vessel, inoculations act as a catalyst for thoughts and impressions to bombard and ground the child to our earth-bound hedonist culture. I demonstrate that as Christians become more spiritually mature, that they begin to receive the impressions from the Indwelling Logos/Son of God -- and it is these impressions that convey to them to purify their body-vessel, and to reject such things as inoculations and permitting their children to become immersed in the cultural thinking and lifestyle of this world. And while as a Conservative Red State, North Carolina provided the necessary environment for this Spiritual Growth and Maturity to be brought about in the lives of many Christians, the North Carolina legislature is attempting to change the laws that would make it more difficult for this spiritual growth and development to be brought about. And while one would expect this from an over-secularized blue state that denies the people their individual God-Given Rights, the very fact that the North Carolina legislature is even considering the denial of individual rights, causes many to question the differences between the two political parties.
The present influx of many communicable diseases can better be attributed to those coming over the southern border of the United States with virtually every disease known to man, than to those who hold personal religious convictions against the inoculation of their children. The fact that our government is needlessly exposing the American people to every variety of exotic diseases, is part of the insanity of what I portray as the Black Plague of the Mind (see The Morphic Field - Public School - Inoculations As A Catalyst).
On the website Inoculations - From A Christian Biblical Perspective there is a letter from and in reply to Sen. Terry Van Duyn with respect to the North Carolina Legislatures attempt to force the parents of those who hold a sincere religious conviction to inoculate their children -- thereby eliminating their First Amendment Religious Rights. And as stated throughout the article, the result of this legislative action will gravely effect the development of all religious groups throughout the state.
