Can You Come To Jesus?

Who will be your leader?  Quoting the Gospel of Thomas (see http://GospelOfThomas.Nazirene.org ):  “The disciples said to Jesus, We know that you will depart from us. Who is to be our leader? Jesus said to them, Wherever you are, you are to go to Jacob the righteous, for whose sake heaven and earth came into being."  In order to understand this statement you must make the connection to the Genesis account of Jacob -- the 12 sons which represent the 12 spheres of mind as patterned in the Tree of Life ( http://TreeOfLife.Nazirene.org ) -- and the transformation from Jacob to Israel after prevailing over the Laws as personified in the allegorical account of Jacob wrestling with the angel by night, and becoming Israel at dawn.  This inward struggle which brings about the refinement of the lower nature and the transformation of the organic human consciousness is also portrayed in the words: "We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God" (Acts 14:22).   And only after prevailing over the Laws can the reality be portrayed in the words: "Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie" (Rev 22:14-15 NKJ).

If the text of the Revelation represented the end of the world, as is commonly believed by the majority of Christians today, then we must pose the question: Why are those who remain outside the city portrayed as "dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie"? Armageddon, then, indicates the disciples personal tribulation described as the "pangs of birth", as he endeavors to overcome his own lower carnal nature through the crucifixion of what is symbolized by the flesh, in order that he can possess the Knowledge of the fruit of the Tree of Life, transcend the natural barriers of this world, and "enter through the gates into the city".  So long as you use the name James without making the connection to the allegorical account in Genesis, it will remain impossible to understand the words: "...for whose sake heaven and earth came into being." 

When you properly apply the scriptures as the Key of Knowledge (see Application Of The Key Of Knowledge http://KeyOfKnowledge.org#ApplicationOfTheKeyOfKnowledge ) -- thereby turning the Gospels within your own mind and being -- would mean that Jesus from an allegorical perspective of Mind, represents that condition and reality when the person begins to connect with the Logos/Son of God within as personified at At-Onement With The Logos/Son Of God http://BrotherOfJesus.org#AtOnement . But to bring this condition about, you must become and embody all that is allegorically personified in the name JACOB who people call James (see http://GospelOfThomas.Nazirene.org/#James ). But since people worship the condition of mind, and fail to embody it by using the Gospels as the Key of Knowledge ( see The Application Of The Key Of Knowledgehttp://KeyOfKnowledge.org#ApplicationOfTheKeyOfKnowledge ). Then only those who seek out the Soul who lives as Jacob who alone "...have the right to the tree of life" -- and in gaining access to the Inner Kingdom by entering through the "narrow strait gate", are able to "...enter through the gates into the city".  And for this purpose "...heaven and earth came into being."  In order to gain entrance into the inner Kingdom, you must put on the Wedding Garment of sinless purity (see http://TheCall.Nazirene.org ).  And if you fail to become all that is embodied in the name Jacob, you will be cast into the "outer darkness" of Mind and Being -- i.e., "'Friend, how did you come in here not wearing wedding clothing?' He was speechless. Then the king said to the servants, 'Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him into the outer darkness; there is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.' For many are called, but few chosen." (Matt 22:1-14).   

Mankind presently dwells in the "outer darkness" -- and as the lost prodigal sons and daughters, they have been stricken with Spiritual Amnesia (http://AnInconvenientTruth.org#SpiritualAmnesia ) -- unable to recall when they dwelt in the Kingdom of the Father before venturing into this, the Far Country.   Stricken with Spiritual Blindness (see Soul-Evolution - Reincarnation And Soul-Development http://OriginalGospel.Ebionite.com#SoulEvolution ).  Functioning from what the biblical authors portray as an "animal-soul" level of consciousness (see Animal-Soul http://AnInconvenientTruth.org#animal ) -- that is incapable of understanding the spiritual meaning of the scriptures, or their own higher Soul-Reality.  Which means that so long as you fail to seek out to become Jacob the Righteous and the transformation into Spiritual Israel, you will remain spiritually blind and the victim of spiritual amnesia -- dwelling perpetually in  "...the outer darkness; there is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.' For many are called, but few chosen" . 

With respect to the question: Who will be your leader?  It is impossible to come to Jesus, without first seeking out Jacob/James.

Who Is God?

In a post on a FaceBook forum where Clement of Alexandria is quoted: “No one can rightly express him wholly. For on account of his greatness he is ranked as the All, and is "The Father of the Universe." Nor are any parts to be predicated of him. For the One is indivisible; wherefore also it is infinite, not considered with reference to inscrutability, but with reference to its being without dimensions, and not having a limit. And therefore it is without form” (Miscellanies 5:12 [A.D. 208]).

I made two replies in the following:The problem is in organic man's inability to comprehend his own higher Soul-Reality. "Whom will he teach knowledge? And whom will he make to understand the message? Those just weaned from milk? Those just drawn from the breasts? For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little" (Isa 28:9-10 NKJ). In the same way that an infant grows into a child and adult one step at a time, so too does the process of mental-expansion take place line upon line. And this immaturity of mind and spirit causes the vast majority of believers not to comprehend an important overlooked and not understood Bible passage states in reference to the Higher Reality of God that mankind is blind to: “‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring’” (Acts 17:28 NIV). If we indeed "...live and move and have our being" within God, then what is our true relationship to God? When we put the foregoing together with the statement by James Jeans that: “...the universe begins to look more like a great thought than like a great machine”. Or the words of Arthur Eddington: “The stuff of the universe is mind-stuff”. What is portrayed is a higher reality that few people are even prepared to contemplate -- much less, understand with sufficient degree to even form a realistic opinion. We live and move and have our being in God, because there is nothing but Mind. And all that exists, exists because the Thoughts of God brought it into existence. And when you look at the outer world, what you are seeing is the Mind of God allegorically presented to you in the forms of nature.

An Enlightened person who understands the Natural Laws of Creation, understands that God is not a being who is separate from man -- but is the very Consciousness within which we move and have out being. Perhaps one of the best teachings (which was removed from the canonical Gospels by the Church), has been preserved in the outlawed Gospel of the Nazirenes, and is known as the parable of the fishes (quoting): "And there were certain men, of doubtful mind, who came to Yeshua, and said to him, You tell us that our life and being comes from God, but we have never seen God, nor do we know of any God. Can you show us whom you call the Father-Mother, one God? We don't know if there is a God. Yeshua answered them, saying, Hear this parable of the fishes. The fishes of a certain river communed with one another, saying, they tell us that our life and being is from water, but we have never seen water, we don't know what it is. Then some among them, wiser than the rest, said, We have heard there dwells in the sea a wise and learned fish, who knows all things. Let us journey to him, and ask him to show us what water is. So several of them set out to find this great and wise fish, and they came at last to the sea where in the wise fish dwelt, and they asked of him. And when he heard them he said to them, O you foolish fish that don't contemplate! The few of you who seek, are wise. You live, and move, and have your being in the water; from the water you came, to the water you return. You live in the water, yet you don't know it.' In a similar manner, you live in God, and yet you ask of me, 'Show us God.' God is in all things, and all things are in God."

Does a fish see the water? No. They only see the physical form of the objects that exist within the water -- or in the analogy of the fish, the water is the Reality of Mind within which all the physical objects exist. At a deeper level, all of Mankind and Creation exits -- and is intimately connected -- within the Mind of God. And while, like the fish, organic man can only see the form of the physical objects, because organic man is blind to the Reality of Mind and Spirit, we fail to see that “‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring’” (Acts 17:28). Which has been confirmed in the words of James Jeans that: “...the universe begins to look more like a great thought than like a great machine” -- and the words of Arthur Eddington who is portrayed as an astronomer, physicist, and mathematician who did his greatest work in astrophysics.: “The stuff of the universe is mind-stuff”.

Second reply: Let's talk about the Cosmology of Mind. The Logos indicates the Mind of God -- aka, Son of God and True Prophet. The Soul of each person is as a single Neuron in the Mind of God. All the lives that the Soul has incarnated into, is as a single neuron in the mind of the Soul. And what this means is that while the Soul evolves over the course of many incarnations, each of these soul-generated personalities are unique in relation to all the other lives the Soul has lived. As explored beginning at The Evolving Soul http://TreeOfLife.Nazirene.org#TheEvolvingSoul , each soul-generated personality MUST return to it's/our Source in what can be portrayed as the House of the Soul -- or Soul Mind-Matrix. When I use the term Unique, that is because each soul-generated personality only lives one life -- and as a neuron in the Mind of the Soul, each soul-generated personality is important because they/we connect the higher spiritual and lower earthly kingdoms within the Soul -- thereby enabling the Soul to become Whole and Complete (Perfect). In view of the fact that modern science has proven what the Mystic has known all along -- i.e, that Time is a Dimension of Mind (see The Enigma Of Time And The Soul Of Man http://SoulSelf.org#EnigmaOfTime ) -- all the soul-generated personalities must be restored to their Source in the Soul Mind-Matrix, and remain conscious of not only the life that they uniquely lived -- but also the relationship of each life to one another.
