The Spiritual Source Of All Religions That Can Be Rediscovered

Which Jesus? The Original Jesus? Or the Jesus who was re-imagined by the Roman Emperor Constantine?

The Essence of all religions were born out of a Spiritual Source that was quickly conquered by quasi-secular leaders who corrupted the religious teachings.  In the words of John Wesley: "that fatal period when the Emperor Constantine called himself a Christian; From this time onward - the Christians had no more of the Spirit of Christ than the heathens...." (Wesley's Works, vol 7, Sermon 89, pp. 26-27).  Thus, Gibbon writes in the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire: ”Constantine easily believed that the heretics, who presumed to dispute his opinions or to oppose his commands, were guilty of the most absurd and criminal obstinacy... Not a moment was lost in excluding the ministers and teachers of the separated congregations from any share of the rewards and immunities which the emperor had so liberally bestowed on the orthodox clergy. But as the sectaries might still exist under the cloud of royal disgrace, the conquest of the East was immediately followed by an edict which announced their total destruction”. Thus, in the same way that whoever did not embrace the religion of the emperor met with the sentence of death when they were hunted down as heretics, whatever scriptures did not conform to the approved version of corrupted gospels, was immediately destroyed -- leaving the Christian world spiritually barren and sterile (see (see The Corruption Of The Gospel Texts http://TheLawOfTheGospels.com#GospelCorruptions ).  Which means that when the modern Christian seeks the Word of God in their copy of the scriptures, they are reading and studying what the Roman Emperors who ruled over the Church permitted them to read and believe (see The Religion Of Roman Emperors http://ChristianReincarnation.org#emperors ).  This fact was proven when the Hand of God gave the community of believers the Dead Sea Scrolls which confirm the facts that the leaders of the Church has long ignored -- i.e.,  in the words of A. Powell Davies who stated: “Biblical scholars were not disturbed by what they found in the Dead Sea Scrolls because they had known all along that the origin of Christianity was not what was commonly supposed to have been” (quoted by Millar Burrows in More Light on the Dead Sea Scrolls). What does it mean that the scholars acknowledge that the origin of Christianity is not what believers have been told by the Church? Worse yet, Edmund Wilson, an expert who worked on the Dead Sea Scrolls further raised the question as to what difference it makes if “Jesus... had been trained in the discipline and imbued with the thought of a certain Jewish sect, and that he had learned from it the role that he afterwards lived...” (The Scrolls From The Dead Sea). To the uninformed and unknowing believer, it made all the difference in the world! And when Prof. John Allegro was quoted as saying that what has been revealed in the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls is a great amount of overwhelming evidence that “...may upset a great many basic teachings of the Christian Church. This in turn would greatly upset many Christian Theologians and believers. The heart of the matter is, in fact, the source and originality of Christian doctrine” (August 1966 issue of Harpers Magazine). What all the many recent archaeological discoveries have confirmed and demonstrated is that Prof. Allegro was correct in his assertion that our modern-day understanding of “the source and originality of Christian doctrine” is defective. Why? Because neither the original teachings or the corrupted scriptures simply does not support the tenets and structure of an organized dogmatic church as we have today. In the words of Prof. Elaine Pagles, in her book, The Gnostic Gospels: “It is the winners who write history - their way. No wonder, then, that the viewpoint of the successful majority has dominated all traditional accounts of the origin of Christianity… It suggests that these religious debates - questions of the nature of God, or of Christ - simultaneously bear social and political implications that are crucial to the development of Christianity as an institutional religion. In simplest terms, ideas which bear implications contrary to that development come to be labeled as heresy; ideas which implicitly support it become orthodox”.

Yet, man possesses an innate ability that can enable him to overcome the corruptions of secularized leaders.  With effort, it is a matter of Natural Law that every person possesses the innate ability to not only recall their Soul's previous lives, but also tap into the Divine Mind.   Which is why Jesus commanded his followers not to seek out a teacher, master, guru of worldly source of knowledge and truth (see The One Teacher http://BrotherOfJesus.org#TheOneTeacher ).  Going one step further, when the corrupted scriptures are used within what would constitute a Consecrated Marriage Union, the scriptures are designed to develop the higher spiritual abilities of Husband and Wife as explored at Birth Development Of Mind Using Scriptures http://DivineMarriage.org#BirthScriptures ).  And to assist the modern believer, the author of the Original Gospels composed in Hebrew Characters (see  http://SpiritualGospel.org#OriginalLanguage ), has restored the suppressed and corrupted teachings at The Law Of The Gospels http://TheLawOfTheGospels.com .  But what this also means is that modern Christians no longer have an excuse for preaching and promoting the doctrines of Constantine and the Mithraic Jesus-god of pagan Rome.   Thus, Jesus warned these  apostate preachers:: "And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more" (Luke 12:47-48).  Those who continue to preach the Jesus-god of pagan Rome, will receive the greater judgment and "...shall be beaten with many stripes" than those unbelievers who remain outside the Church.  In the words of the pre-Nicene Church Father Origen: "Every soul... comes into this world strengthened by the victories or weakened by the defeats of its previous life. Its place in this world as a vessel appointed to honor or dishonor is determined by its previous merits or demerits.
